Wildstar Raids? RAIDS!

Hokay everyone, so this post is a two parter. A few of us want to start working toward making raids happen so firstly, I'd like to get a show of hands of who is actually willing to do some REAL raid progression? We need people that can be on for raids, and are willing to take the time to get the gear etc. We are more than willing to help gear people that are dedicated, but we need to know you are going to actually be around for raids.

The second part is more of a discussion. As we all know recruitment is slow at the moment, and the lack of geared and dedicated players will likely be the #1 thing holding us back. A few of us came up with an idea that may alleviate this. Once we have a good count of how many players are willing to gear up for raids, we could take to the official forums, wsc forums, etc. and look into forming a circle with another small guild to fill in the gap in raid players. This would require us aligning our raid times with said guild, and may create some looting issues if we don't establish a loot system up front. I know this may be a tall order, but I am willing to compromise if it means getting into raids faster. Eventually we may be able to switch fully over to guild only runs, but I don't see that happening right away. I know this may be.. controversial, but circles make it easy to ally while keeping our guild in tact.
 
Im up for it as long as the time starts 30 minutes after i get off work. Im real close to 50 now, can get it in just a couple days and be ready to go for gear runs this weekend.
 
I'm up for it and i have lots of time atm. Some Set times and maybe even set groups to run adventures and dungeons would be sweet. I'm Also a tailor now (which ive been leveling up beacuse no one is online to do adventures most the time) so i can help gear up the lighties!

Yes i know im in the stardust guild but im only there for the buffs now really so im happy to leave.
 
I will report back once I´m 50. Right now I´m super busy. I should be able to manage to come to at least one raiding day, no matter when it is.
 
Thanks, I was going to write a similar post once we hit that 7/7 date. But appreciate the initiative!
 
Gyoin I could make a post on one of the official forums or something with it. I made a circle called, "The Raid Collective"

I say wait until the weekend when people have seen this. We should start to get a dedicated list of who can raid, and what role they want to raid. That way we have a person/class/spec profile.

Gyoin - Warrior - preferred tank spec.
 
Gyoin I could at least get the post going, we have some anxious people in mumble haha. Don't have to 'choose' a guild to ally with super quick but the sooner its up the sooner people see it.

Alright. It's just a fickle beast you're playing with, be cautious in how you word it. There will be a ton of drama in loot rolls, times to raid, who's tanking/healing/DPS, should one guild absorb the other, etc... At least that is if we get the "guild co-op" raid system. Hopefully we can persuade those in guilds who are starting to fall apart that we're looking for more raiders (and are on a nightly basis attuning in dungeons hint hint), that might be a more aggressive recruitment approach.
 
I think while we wait we should start a separate thread to list class and preferred role. It might help to have this before we post so we can say what we are looking for

Sounds good, maybe I'll write it up later today unless someone more capable would like to. Don't know much about loot systems tho.

I agree, that way we at least start to get organized and can plan more group stuff for attunements. I know I play with almost a rotated group from night to night, it'll be nice to get a more detailed list. Maybe I'll make a new rank in the guild for "Raid Attuning Member" and/or "Raider" for when finished.

Also, someone who is good with embing a google docs may be the best way to do it, that way we can have some other information added and be easier managed.
 
Is it editable? I don't seem to have access... But may just be because of my work computer.

Hmm. Alright. I'll check it in a bit and edit it. Probably put in a "Attunement Progress" column too, and maybe a Gear Score? Arbitrary numbers for gearscore, but may be necessary later.
