Not one, but TWO separate devs hung out with us. One dev appeared when we were in Rata Sum but didnt follow us like the other guy did.
 
Ya and Locke was there with us like the whole time....didn't he join the guild too? :D

But ya lots of fun, great playing with all of you guys - we couldn't get into WvW but the Mesmer run was fantastic and extremely fun.

Honestly, I don't think it would have been AS good in WvWvW. Funny for a short while, but running around the towns and picking up followers was more amusing to me. :p

I agree with this. It would have been fun no doubt but having interactions with players that could communicate with us turned out to be much better than I had imagined. How many random people did we have playing along with us? Like the guy at the diving board that went and waited in line for us. But more than that, we all shared in the laughter and good times, thanks to everyone that participated and everyone else that wanted to but couldn't make it.

Edit: This totally goes against the gaming attitude I usually have. I mean I'll have good times with my guild for sure but it's usually to someone else's dismay(Trolling the Alliance or griefing them or what have you).

That was funnny! There was a couple people who came running up the ramp and we all yelled "NO CUTTING!" and "GET TO THE BACK OF THE LINE" and they obliged which was hilarious!
 
hearing everything that happened with the mesmer event im pretty mad i had to go to work like 20 min before you guys started it
 
ya, but it went for like 2 hours so no way you could have made it. The way it just kind of organically turned into awesome leads me to believe we will have lots more of these on release.
 
I was hoping we could've got the one dev on our mumble, I felt bad for the guy after I heard that several people from our were messaging him, all those names of ilil variation, poor bastard lol.

did you guys happen to figure out the dev's name,i had no idea he was in mumble either? would be cool if it was a big name dev from the team...like Colin, Jon, or Mike

I didn't but I know Gyoin was talking to him a lot. I do know he mentioned he was one or the economist for the game economy. That must be interesting to see how a virtual market with virtual goods can fluctuate and act like a real one.
 
REALLY sad that I missed 99% of this beta weekend. It looks like you all had a blast and I'm really looking forward to release now! I managed to get into a sPvP match with some of the guild, but I couldn't even manage to maintain a connection at the gf's house for the limited amount of time I would have been able to join the gang. Hope you all had a great weekend and can't wait til the 25th!!

OMG now I am a fanboy of his. Game economy is HUGE for me. Also there is a way to see peoples account names in game and his was like johndoe.9637 or something like that.
