[Sep 19, 2014] Six Flags, Real Life Get Together! (Jackson, NJ)

Okay. I got my schedule up until the 21st. I'm off for the entire weekend :D
It will probably just be me on my end.
 
Alright! I'm thinking we're starting to think we hit the most we'll see for this event. From my current views, I believe we're at 14? With that we'll just buy 15 tickets for the discount and have an extra ticket in case of another guest (Subtle maybe?! >_>)

I'll plan on buying tickets next week.

That said, people should start thinking about speed passes! This is purely optional. I know Hauntie and myself will be throwing in the cash for the Gold level Flash Pass. That means we have room for up to 4 more on our pass. I suggest those that are truly planning on riding ALL the rides get in on this. Those who plan on back seating and enjoying the festivities can probably avoid paying the extra for the speed passes. Hauntie can explain a bit more about it than I can, but from my understanding we can get 1 pass, and if we pay for 6 people we can get 6 people in on the ride with the one pass, but it might not necessarily have to be just the same 6 people, so we can rotate in and out who wants to be on which ride. Unless I'm feeling utterly ill (and maybe then I may still do it), I will be on all rides.

How to Buy

• THE FLASH Pass can be purchased online or at THE FLASH Pass booth located on Main Street past Season Pass Processing.

• Prices for THE FLASH Pass vary depending on level of service and number of riders. Park admission is additional. Up to five extra riders can be added to your THE FLASH Pass for an additional charge.

• A valid state-issued driver’s license, passport or current Season Pass is required to rent THE FLASH Pass. The ID will be held until THE FLASH Pass is returned in the same condition it was rented. School IDs are not accepted.

Availability

A limited number of THE FLASH Passes are available for purchase each operating day. The passes will be available only while supplies last, and are valid only on the day of purchase. THE FLASH Pass may be used on the following rides, although rides can vary by day. Please see THE FLASH Pass booth for a list of specific rides available during your visit.

THE FLASH Pass prices and rides are subject to change without notice.

Daily Theme Park admission or Season Pass is required to use THE FLASH Pass. THE FLASH Pass does not include park admission.

Please be advised THE FLASH Pass and THE FLASH Pass wristbands are non-transferable. Guests using the Platinum level service, requires all platinum users to each wear their own wristbands to gain access to an attraction/ride, and take advantage of the consecutive riding.
 
anyone know the actual pricing numbers? i wont know for sure that i can go for a while so i don't want to spend a ton on a ticket i might not end up being able to use, and as i don't frequent theme parks i don't know what to expect.

Rooms are at about 100 a night (but ask if anyone has space in a room, you can cut that considerably by sharing). Tickets to Six Flags are $35 +tax a pop. The speed pass access is about $60 a pop. Food and drinks are typically over priced, but will vary.

And I'm paying for the tickets outright, expecting others to pay me back when they arrive to the hotel. If we have some extras and people bail, I'm just eating those costs I guess haha
 
My friend from work is coming with her bf for sure, so they are added to the number pool. Just not sure how I'm going to get tickets to them if they plan on rolling in saturday

I already said I will buy tickets for the entire group beforehand for the group discount. At some point I'll need reimbursement, but I'll leave that up to the tab people to figure out the repayment, since I obviously can't shakedown people I just met haha

Yeah, she's good for it. bf is a doctor and shes an RN so they can spare the cheddar haha

Haha no worries. I just don't want to all of a sudden be $500 in the hole because no one wants to pay me back XD (Caroline would kill me)
 
Since you're in New Jersey you have to check out digger land. Its a theme park based on construction equipment.
 
BRING SWIM TRUNKS. There's a pool.

Edit: There's an outdoor, seasonal pool. We'll see what happens. Could still be hot.
 
I will be making the ticket purchases tomorrow after work! IT'S BECOMING EVEN MORE OFFICIAL GUYS!

Remember to keep in mind if you want to go in on a Flash Pass. This will be a "money at the door" purchase, so remember to bring extra for it!
