GW2 Height comparison - all races/genders

For your purview, I give you all races, genders and sizes!

• The tall models are also the largest body selection (from the shoulders)
• The short models are also the skinniest body selection
• Warrior was a good default choice, as it showed legs and had a decent default shoulder armor option
• Females in silver, males in default gold

Note:
This is as close as I could really get it. I used the line where the wall met the ground and the first set of brickwork up from the ground to scale the characters. It was difficult because the camera changed with the different races and I couldn't line up the same angle, from head-on to looking slightly downwards. I suspect the Norn and Charr are slightly taller than shown overall, but the Human/Sylvari and Asura are all very close in comparison to each other. The only way I could really get it to be more accurate is if I had a friend or more to abuse, but nobody seemed inclined to tear themselves away from "doing more fun stuff" and mocking my efforts.

I find it interesting that largest female human and the smallest female norn are nearly identical in size. A definite consideration if you fancy one racial armor or skill over another.

I'm surprised by how big the Sylvari is...they are almost the same size as humans. They should be smaller according to lore.

Amen. I am sitting here with serious decisions to make..

Look how the armor sits on the norn too. Much more "IN YO FACE"

All I want is the Human Necro outfit. Question is... will I be able to wear it?

Second:

Not a HUGE fan of the Racial armor for the Scholar.
I LOVE THE Guardian Armor however.
But alas I have chosen my Mesmer main haha. And I will get to my Guardian EVENTUALLY.

I also appreciate the option to give norn women a thicker body shape. Lots of people are bothered by how skinny the human women are.
