What role do you wish to play in the guild? For example: PvP, PvE, Casual/Social
I WANT to play like a hardcore 18 year old like I did in WOW. Sadly this cannot happen. I play entirely more than I should and am so impressed with this game I am taking 2 weeks of vacation to nerd out.

I will be focusing on organized PVP. I am also extremely excited to explore dungeon content. I like having a set group that can progress together but I also enjoy pugging on off time.

Which previous MMO's or online games have you played and how long for?
World of Warcraft from beta to my hardest of harcore days in cataclysm, Starcraft I and II, All Warcraft RTS's, CS, League of Legends, Call of Duty (PS3). Sadly WOW took me away from Guild Wars. It was great but I had nobody to play with and began running a guild in WOW.

Were you a part of a guild? What was your experience?
I ran Council on Dragonmaw server at the start of Cataclysm. I was an officer in MOA on Dragonmaw during vanilla. I quit WOW half way through Black Temple and got back into it halfway through Lich King.

I don't say this to toot my own horn but I say this as a proud guild leader who defied the odds and handled constant trolling aginst my guild. At one point in Cataclysm progression, Council was ranked 87 in the world and 48 in the United States. I ran Council like no other guild. We had TEN 10 man groups. Yes TEN! Everyone told me it wouldn't work but I spent a very long time of my day to manage 10 different raid leaders and helped them find their own teams. They all stuck together and progressed individually with some very fun poking at each other during raid nights.

Long story short, it is a very enlightening experience to run a guild and see p[layers improve. I ultimately quit when my son was born and I got a promotion at work that required more of my efforts.

How did you hear about the Guild?
I have been preaching Guild Wars 2 to my local Gamestops and old friends from my previous job at GameCrazy (which went out of business) for quite some time. I saw the video you posted about things that are bad about GW2. The style you approach gaming draws me in.

What will you bring to the ALTTABME community? (Chatty? Skilled? Funny? Helping?)
I would like to think that I bring some very skilled gameplay to the table. I enjoy being good at what I do and I cannot wait to master this dodge mechanic. I do help quite often as long as it is accepted. Chatty?, yes. Especially if we are doing organized events. Without Skype/Ventillo, it isn't organized. However, if there is already a raid leader/organizer, I can keep quiet when needed : ).

And hell yes I'm funny but I like a professional application!

Will Arcanix be the only guild you join?
I believe in one guild only. I didn't like the idea of being in multiple guilds. Alliances I can handle, but I dedicate myself to you.

Is there anything else you would like to throw in here at the end?
I very much wanted to run a guild in GW2 as I feel it is the absolute best thing to happen to MMORPG's since Vanilla WOW. Unfortunately for hardcore gaming, I am planning on joining the Air Force in the near future. Also, with 2 children I find it very hard to squeeze the amount of time it takes to successfully RUN a guild.

I have accepted that I can make a very positive difference in a guild that already has dedicated leaders. This is the only guild that I will be applying for and I would absolutely love the opportunity to be a part of this community.

How much time can you put into the guild do you think since you are in the Air Force? Just curious. Thanks!

He has the drive to be hardcore... Might not be the greatest fit but I say a trial period might be in order depending on the response.

Seems like we might be a bit laid back for him, also the Air Force thing will take up alot of his time. If he will be around occasionally after basic and MOS school then a trial period is in order I thinks.
