This guide revises the original guide posted on Guru to fit the new patch.

THIS IS THE FASTEST WAY TO LEVEL NOT THE CHEAPEST. SO IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR THAT, THIS IS NOT IT... I REPEAT YOU WILL HAVE TO SPEND MONEY TO REAP THE REWARDS OF THE 10 LEVELS AND MAX COOKING TO FINISH THIS!

This also requires you to buy most of the mats you do not have. You will spend about 2 gold total but be able to get 70 silver back from selling what you make to a vendor for default price.

Karma is in the 2k-4k range. Karma items are ACCOUNT bound so you can get them on any character.

PRICES: So you know.... The price of these mats via the Trading post does NOT go much over the price you would have paid from the vendor prior to the patch. The players have over saturated the market so it is still around the same outcome money wise. You just have to sell all the stuff you have left over to vendors. You make about a gold back, making the total you spent close to 1-2gold depending on the market at the time.

Still very reasonable with the mats being available on the TP. That is, unless people start gouging the prices. I've been getting a good amount of butter/chocolate on my alts. The key is just finding a dynamic event that pops a lot, and has waves of humanoids that drop the loot bags. I had much better success getting chocolate/butter with lowbie events (Norn starter area, bear shrine event) than I did with other's such as the level 50ish one in Bloodtide.

The fact that they took them off the vendor actually made them more accessible. Now they are dropping for everyone, and selling for 1c on the TP. That means virtually unchanged rate of gain, at only a fraction of a higher gold cost.

I wish I saw this so many levels ago.... I'm just on the brink of hitting 300 and I'm so stumped on what else I can make. I have so much food and it's taking up so much of my bank! Some of this stuff I can still discover though, but how much exp I'll get for some of it, I don't know how much it will help. So far the Chef craft is my least favorite.... ever. I can't wait to have it maxed out.

Looking back on the other post about finding chocolate and butter... I have so much of it... it's practically pouring out of my ears.... xD
