Love is Dead

Hey guys,
I just watched the SimCity broadcast interview and enjoyed it. This seems like a strong community and I'd like to join your region in SimCity if you would have me.
I've been playing SimCity since I found it on one of my Dad's floppy disks in the 90s. I had no idea what was going on then, but as I've grown I've learned to love any and all simulation games. I played SC4 extensively and reached a level of understanding where I was able to create the high-tech skyscraper city I dreamed of. With SC5 I've played the beta test and am excited for the game's release.
I didn't enjoy Cities XL, and there haven't been too many city-building options in the past 10 years since the release of SC4. The Anno series didn't quite do it for me, but there were a few ancient Rome city-builders I enjoyed. I played a good amount of Dwarf Fortress and found the level of detail in that game to be quite exciting. Cities in Motion is a good title as well as OpenTTD, but they are focused on transportation rather then building, designing, and construction.
I'm looking for some people interested in taking the game seriously, but not in a hardcore sense. I like to talk about strategies and explore as many intricacies of simulation games as I can. Please let me know if you'd be interested in having me as part of your region.
