We are now on nfo-servers. This should hopefully solve our recent problems.
We are currently using the Feed-The-Beast Client and the Modpack Direwolf (v1.0.4) 1.7.10 (download)

Rules:
-Right now there is no white-list. If this should become a problem, I will turn it on.

If somebody can build us a big nice base, it would be awesome! Feel free to tear what I have build down, It´s just makeshift.

Welp, just fired up resurrection and was able to hop onto the server. Only problem was that I averaged about 1 fps so there was that. If anyone else is having problems or knows of any way to boost it please let me know.

I reduced the render distance by one and that already solved my Problem. It takes pretty long until the chunk is loaded, so waiting a little bit at the beginning should help.

btw: If you break your gravestone, you get your items back.
 
Just a quick update if anybody tried to connect today. My place is going to get faster internet and they are putting down cables right now. Expect some connection issues over the next few days.

I was having this issue 100% of the time until I went into settings, in the launcher, and allowed java to use more than 1 gig of my ram to run minecraft.

Aww you guys are playing Minecraft again? I remember some funny chat from the last play through... mostly everyone blamed zorph when stuff broke.
 
Gregtech is a huge PITA, but we're breaking out of the Bronze Age now for so your lives should be a little easier. Getting some automation going(zorph don't touch ANYTHING) and playing with some of the more detailed mods.

LoL the server caused my internet problems. I guess I have to restart it every now and then.

Looked into it a little bit more. It´s something that was build. I can´t pinpoint it down, but it basically makes my Internet unusable. I´m going to move my Server to my home place and host from there. Server will be down for a day.
 
hmm. could it be a world anchor? I know they used to be glitched in the last mod we had. idk. thats just a complete shot in the dark.
 
Hey Euchale, what's your bandwidth look like. Would it be worth getting a host? I've been considering getting another host anyways.

Hi you two. I´ve looked into the issue a little bit more yesterday. Apparently as soon as I start my it sends out requests to connect via http and https. The problem is though, it becomes more and more requests. It starts with 2, then 4, then 8, then 16 and so on. As soon as it is in the 128 range I can feel a slight slowdown in my network. If it´s above 1024 it´s basically unusable, because the port 80 and 443 (these are the ones for http and https) are so full, that nothing can connect. I will be looking into it some more today. And if I cannot resolve it, I will look for a host. Interestingly, once you got through port 80/443 your speed is super fast again.
Bandwidth btw is 100mbit/s down 10mbit/s up. That´s more than enough.
 
Good news: I figured out a problem and resolved it.
Bad news: I still get a slowdown, but now it takes 10-20 minutes until it starts instead of immediately.
 
Just a quick update:
I will have to format and reinstall the whole server. I will then host the map again. If this works: yay! If not, we will look for a horst.
