[Apr 14, 2013] The First First Pathfinder Session (Mumble)

I'll take a closer look at Roll20, but it'll be either that or MapTool for the grid. Google+ Hangouts seems the best for video chat for now.

Change of plans...Ill be around on Sunday. I have been dealing with some sort of infernal plague the last few days and made the executive decision to NOT go away.

Aww, that sucks for sickness/vacation plans... But yay you'll be there the first day :)
 
If Red Omen is still feeling shitty I say we just go through character creation. That way everyone can get set up. If he is feeling ok then we can start the campaign after.
 
So I am assuming we were planning for tomorrow for our first first session? While I don't see another event I will post here. I haven't left for work yet but I am 90% sure I am getting an extra shift in the morning which means I will not be attending, unless I happen to get out early and get some sleep beforehand.
 
I have some time (until roughly 9 eastern). We'll see who can come tomorrow afternoon, and we might just end up taking a closer look at characters. I've still been too busy to really sit down and watch that video.
 
2 questions for the DM:

Can I go knife master?
and
Can I use the halfling alternate racial trait: adaptable luck?

Alternate Racial Traits

The following alternate racial traits may be selected in place of one or more of the standard racial traits above. Consult your GM before selecting any of these new options.
  • Adaptable Luck Some halflings have greater control over their innate luck. This ability gives them more options for how they can apply their good fortune from day to day, but also narrows its scope. Three times per day, a halfling can gain a +2 luck bonus on an ability check, attack roll, saving throw, or skill check. If halflings choose to use the ability before they make the roll or check, they gain the full +2 bonus; if they choose to do so afterward, they only gain a +1 bonus. Using adaptive luck in this way is not an action. This racial trait replaces halfling luck.

We got together on Sunday to get the systems all set up. We're pretty much good to go besides a few numbers being crunched with Tig's and Zakis's characters. The discussion is also up for possibly another day/time to play :)
