[Aug 15, 2013] Smite Night (Smite)

Well, I'm sure there will be people on who want to play earlier. Just make sure to try not to start games at 8:30 or after so everyone can be ready at 9.
 
That was a lot of fun last night. Thank you for everyone who showed up, played, or just hung out in mumble. Bruce has a recording of the event on his twitch page if you want to check out how bad Team Terrible really was. Our only saving grace was that 2nd arena match.

I do apologize, I didn't realize my sound wasn't being picked up so mumble conversation and game audio is missing :( I apologize.

Well, we could technically record from mumble (audio only). That might be funny on it's own lol
 
Nah, I can't keep them all in my head. I've been playing Cupid and Zeus a bit, but still trying to find another ranged God I really like playing.
 
It definitely helps if you have a ranged, tank, and support god in your rotation. I find knowing a good 3-4 will have you be versatile enough for any grouping.

When playing solo with randoms I usually let everyone pick who they want to be and then I fill in the need.

When playing with randoms, you can do 1 of 2 things. What Sim said, talk it out and get a good balance, or say "fuck you" and auto lock your god in the first 2 seconds.

But yeah, like after last night when you guys locked Vulcan and Ymir right off the bat, I had Zeus and Loki as possible god choices, or even Chang'e or Cupid.

I usually lock Xbalanque (SHE-buh-LONG-kay) less than a second since I know where he is on my screen lol. Also, ranged is all I ever play. I have no interest in playing tanks or melee in any game. It's just a matter of finding a couple of ranged gods that appeal to my play style really. Cupid is pretty close in that regard right now so I'll likely buy him. :)
