Beta starts next Monday or Tuesday 7/30 or 7/31

I thought this was about GW2 for some reason and FREAKED OUT. :( Planetside 2 is alright too, I guess. Hope I get an e-mail.
 
Eh... I thought there was already a beta event... if you look at the beta forums they announced it. Unfortunately my current computer can't run it, so I'm waiting on my new one. :D I'm pretty sure one ended today. I thought nobody was saying anything because of NDA, lol. Where did you guys get your keys from? Did they already send out emails to the people who were accepted and are just waiting to launch the beta or is it all going to happen at about the same time?

They are sending out invites in waves once it starts, beginning with Planetside Veterans and then people who entered beta keys from April Issue of PC Gamer. According to Creative Director Matt Higby every person who ever had an active subscription to the original Planetside is being considered a veteran and should be getting an invite.

They have also been continuously giving out keys on their twitter pretty much since E3.

That's sweet. Thanks for the information. I was subbed to the original a long ass time ago but I seriously think I've stopped using whatever email it was I had at the time. FML. Oh well, with any luck I'll get in eventually. Hope you guys that get in have fun, even if Tristan keeps speaking ill of it and breaking my poor wittle heart. <3
