Well guys this has been my most anticipated game of the past 2 years. I was very disappointed that they kept moving the date back on multiple occasions.

For those of you who have played the last one, i know you are skeptical because of the crap they did to the 2nd one. For those who didn't play the second one, they pretty much took the first one, changed the title and character and threw it out into the market for a little extra cash.

Luckily it looks like they learned from their mistake and are actually taking their time to perfect this one. They reason that this game series has a lot of potential. This is why i am not so mad about the date changes. A little ticked yes.

 
That was awesome!! They really did put a lot of work into it. And now I feel like I need to do nothing but save Elizabeth.. =P
 
When you look at the first debut trailer and one of their more recent videos and look at them side by side you will see the drastic changes in graphics and how they look amazing.

They're also making it single player only, and not dividing their resources. I have more faith in this game than I did Bioshock's successor.
 
I was blown away from this. Wow. Looked like a damn movie. Is the girl one of the evil children the robot people protected from game 1? Are they in love? I need more!!!
 
From what i understood is that Elizabeth is trapped by the Bird. Booker i guees is sort of a man of hire or officer of the law and took up the job of rescuing Elizabeth. More than likely they will fall in love

Yeah I was wondering what this had to do with the original game as well.

Bioshock was one of the last single player games I've played from start to finish. Damn that was such good writing and execution.
 
Yeah the first Bioshock has one of the best stories in a game I've ever played, and with Infinite having new everything as opposed to another regurgitated sequel... *excitedness*.
 
I feel like I need to point out that the core of Irrational Games, the guys who made and envisioned BioShock, had nothing to do with BioShock 2. That was a different studio, with like just a few guys from Irrational Games who switched to that studio. So Ken Levine and co's resume is still untarnished, from Thief and System Shock to BioShock, all amazing games.

And this one's gonna be the tits too.

I took GMG's deal a while ago, and luckily the X-COM addition is retroactive (as far as I can tell) so now I got Civ V, X-COM, BioShock and BioShock Infinite for around €40 (I bought the Civ V Gold Edition upgrade for €2.5 a while ago when it was on sale on Steam). Not bad, not bad at all.

Sadly i will not be at the Midnight launch, work and all that in the morning. But you can bet your ass i will be there as soon as i get off work.

I'll have a review for it probably next week
