So i picked up Bioshock Infinite at 4:30 (Couldn't finish my 9 hours so i left work at 8 hours) The guys at gamestop were pretty cool, a little to aggressive in the pre-order pressure but convinced me to get the season pass. So i get home and i walk in the door and my dreams are crushed. My mother-in-law is watching the news. I let out a deep sigh and admit defeat. I didn't want to bring my Ps3 into the bedroom because the tv is small. So i just stand there awkwardly and stare at the TV. Next i hear "You can change it if you want". My eyes open and hope is restored. I pop in the disk and sit with a grin on my face. Let everything load, blah blah blah.
***SPOILER ALERT SPOILER ALERT***
Disclaimer-
i will be periodically call out things in the world. I am not a good narrator but i will do my best. This is not my final review, just a lil teaser.
So now i am in the world

New game and GO. I start the game off in a boat and all i can see are the waves, they look like waves and not just plastic wrap. Skip ahead-----We are in the flying city of Columbia, I literally walked around for about 30 minutes just admiring the sites. I came. I have seen the amazing graphics on a computer first hand and graphics on a console. The console graphics are amazing for console graphics, this game will be purchased for the PS4 if it is made for it.
Now skipping ahead a little again for some combat. I really like the skylines and hooks. Gives a different dynamic of gameplay. Really hard to master in my opinion but i just sucks monkey balls at multitasking. I am bad at breaking habits, when i find a weapon i like (Golden pistol and shotgun) i usually stay with those. When i go home tonight and play for another 6 hours i will try and change things up and widen my perspective on weapons. But if in close combat def, the shotgun and the pistol is pretty deadly at mid to long ranges.
Vigors... WTF is a vigor. A vigor is basically a plasmid from Bioshock 1. They changed the name IMO because they wanted to get away from the Bioshock 1 standard and make a completely new game. Which they did GREAT IMO. Now when i first got my sample vigor i was like sweetness because i controlled robots, pretty useful in the beginning but i don't really use it later in the game. (NOTE: i am not that far into the game because of sightseeing and getting caught up in the game) BE WARNED, use vigors with care. I notice early on that you have a VERY limited supply of salt (energy used to power vigors) Unlike B1 and B2 you don't get 9 needles to inject into your arm. You have one bar and few uses before you run out of salt. Elizabeth will find you salts while in combat for you so i guess that kinda offsets the limited amount of vigor usage.
Gameplay, to me the gameplay is really nice. One thing i love is that i don't have to push a button to open a fucking door. YAY they got it right on this one and made it so you can walk up to the door and it opens. WOW. Another thing i really like is that there isn't a Waypoint telling you where to go. You get to walk around and enjoy the sights while making your way to the objective. However on the slight chance you get lost (Guilty as charged) there is a button that you push and an arrow lights up on the floor for a split second and then slowly disappears. I really like this because it gives the player a chance to look at the sights instead of just rushing to the end.
That's all for now. I tried not to spoil to much. Once i finish the game i will give a final review. Until next time.
