What role do you wish to play in the guild? For example: PvP, PvE, Casual/Social
All of the above, I want to enjoy every aspect of the GW2. However, I concentrate alot on sPvP and Tournament PvP. This game has so much to do and I want to enjoy it with active members that want to have fun and that are mature with no drama.
Which previous MMO's or online games have you played and how long for?
I have played a number of MMOs which include WoW, AoC, RoM, GW, AION, Lineage II, LoL, SC, SCII. I was most active in WoW and played for 5 years. I played AION and RoM for roughly 1 year. Geez that is alot of acronyms for all these games. Please let me know if there is one that you don't recognize.
Were you a part of a guild? What was your experience?
In GW2 I was part of Dara Mactire which is no longer a really active guild. My previous experience to Dara was with a guild in WoW Loaded Dice that I was the GM of. We were a semi-hardcore guild, but if I were to rate it I would say that we were more casual with aspirations to be hardcore.
How did you hear about the Guild?
I have seen your streams on youtube and have come across your page in the past, but most recently I met a couple of your members Thunderhowl dueling 1v1s in sPvP. We had some fun trying beat each other in 1v1s and they recommended that I should put in an application after asking about your guild.
What will you bring to the ALTTABME community? (Chatty? Skilled? Funny? Helping?)
Honestly, I hope to bring all of the above! I enjoy interacting and talking with guild members. I like to be proficient in my profession so I hope bring some additional skill to ALTTABME in regards to being a Mesmer. I like to make jokes and have fun and I will never turn down helping a guild mate if I am available to help! I am really looking for an ACTIVE guild with members and officers alike that are mature and that manage the guild in a manner which every member feels like they are part of something special.
Will Arcanix be the only guild you join?
I am in Dara Mactire currently, but as I said before it is becoming a non-active community with most of the officers leaving to play Mists of Pandaria. My intent is to solely represent ALTTABEME if they should so accept my application.
Is there anything else you would like to throw in here at the end?
My wife plays GW2 as well and we play together often. So eventually, if I am accepted I would like for her to join and submit an application as well. Additionally, I told one of my old guildmates Devve who used to be an officer in Dara Mactire about your guild and that I would be putting in an application. I believe he has put in an application as well.
Other than that, I just want to forwardly offer my thanks for your time and consideration of my application!
