Read a post that only a few thousand will get in to first wave of closed beta... however, it also stated:

Im realistic we all signed up under the same guild name. I also talked to their PR briefly about possible podcasts and they mentioned the guild invites. So it looks like they are planning something big with that. So it is actually positive thought that perhaps we have to wait now to get something cooler later
