GW2 Coming soon to a server near you

I just bought GW2 and my computer is installing it as we speak. I thought I'd take the opportunity to research what server I'd like to play on and possibly find a guild to join. This one caught my eye since I'm more of a casual gamer- I play a lot and I play well, but I wouldn't describe myself as elitist or a min/maxer. I'd rather have a really fun fail than a long, boring success.

I played WoW for several years, but stopped just before Cataclysm. I've been playing Diablo 3, but the game lacks the social, cooperative elements that I enjoy in an MMO. I'm hoping that GW2 will be my next big thing and hopefully I'll find a great community to share it with.

Thanks! I'm reading through the rules and whatnot. I appreciate your stance on drama llamas. Nothing annoys me more than a stinky drama llama.

I've been looking through some of the game guides, particularly those about the Ranger class. Think it's safe to say I'll be coming back here for the reference if nothing else.
 
Application denied. I guess I mistook general friendliness and comment like (which has now been revoked, it seems) as encouragement to move things along. No worries. I'll hang around and maybe apply again in a week or so, when I have more of a clue about what's going on.

What has been revoked?

And I am pretty sure we are friendly but we do take our applications seriously... And it seems to me you did not read the pre-req's before you actually applied. Hence the 1 liners.

Pretty sure that was clear in the reply. We lock denied applications so that may be why you cannot reply to it.
 
I removed my like from his "stance on drama llama post" (which seems to have caused drama*killme* ).

I removed the like because his corresponding app was terrible and it was pretty obvious the pre-reqs weren't read. That is all.

I still just think Drama Llama is a funny expression.

I'm sorry that the app wasn't what you were looking for. I did read the prereqs, but I purposely kept my answers brief. When I read applications, resumes, ect, walls of text tend to turn me off, so I kept it to the point. I'll go back over the prereqs and read more of the other applications, and I'll know better next time.
