What games do you wish to play with the alttabme community?
Wildstar when it comes out, any others people are currently playing in the interm that may catch my fancy

Class/Race(if applicable)

What role do you wish to play in the guild? For example: PvP, PvE, Casual/Social
I am unsure what my role will be once Wildstar hits, however I am definitely here for social reasons above all else. I'm willing to support the guild in-game in any way I'm needed!

Which previous MMO's or online games have you played and how long for?
World of Warcraft [on and off for 5 or so years since vanilla, mostly played with real life friends]
Guild Wars [played about a year]
Guild Wars 2 [again, around 1 year]
Lineage 2 [around 1 year]
Ragnarok Online [on and off for about 3-4 years]
Planetside 2 [been playing since release]
Star Wars: The Old Republic [Played for less then a year]
Star Wars Galaxies [on and off for about 2 years, mostly played with friends]

I've played countless other MMOs and dabbled in countless more, but I played these the most.

Were you a part of a guild? What was your experience?
For the most part I just played with friends.
I was in a SWTOR Guild called Noghri Strike Force, which I had been a part of for about a year prior to the game's release. It had been a well established guild in other games, and I joined for the community - I still talk to a few members to this day. I was the recruitment officer for the guild for a while, but there was an increasing amount of drama and many of the core players left. I moved on and joined BLEED, which was a strong PVP guild on the server, but it lacked the community I had before. I ended up quitting the game shortly after.
I am still sort of an auxillary member of a Planetside 2 guild called Nightmare Battalion. They are a really great group, which is the main reason I still pop in every now and then, though I am not actively playing the game much anymore. Unfortunately their presence is mainly in-game, and my forum whore-dom was not being properly fulfilled. I still post on their forums regularly, but I am not actively playing with them much anymore.

For the past month or so I had been looking for a group I'd eventually be able to play Wildstar with, but more importantly a group I could stick with even if the game fizzles out.

How did you hear about the AltTabMe?
I saw the recruitment thread on WildStar central, and the recruitment video got me excited. I trolled the forums for a day or two before registering, and I've been in love ever since.

What will you bring to the ALTTABME community? (Chatty? Skilled? Funny? Helping?)
I am a very community-oriented gamer - the community is the most important aspect of gaming for me. Of course, I need to enjoy the game I am playing too, but the game is nothing without a core community to play with - a family if you will. I believe strongly in participation in all social aspects as well as in-game events/raids/pvp/etc. Those late night gaming sessions, having a beer on voice chat, and recking shit up is what I live for. I've been missing that feeling of community for some time now. Especially since moving to the city - it's hard to find a solid community amongst the masses of other humans around. Plus, my gaming friends are too flakey generally.

I'm very keen to help others, even if it's just with life advice. I'm a nurse, we are supposed to be empathetic. I also enjoy helping people in-game as well; gives me a warm tingly feeling and such. I'm more of a giver then a taker in general, I think. At least I hope so.

I do have high expectations of this community a well, given my high level of desire to be an active, participating community member. So far, I have not been disappointed; there is always someone in the chat room or on mumble to putz around with during down time. I have a couple friends from a previous guild that are also interested in the community - they play League of Legends mostly, and I would love to bring other similar-minded people together in the future.

I consider myself a decently skilled gamer as well, and I enjoy doing high-end raids/pvp/etc. I'm not much of a crafter, though I always promise myself that 'this will be the game I take crafting seriously from the beginning instead of half-assedly trying to catch up later in the game like a schmuck.

Did I mention I just got a nursing degree? I was also an Emergency Medical Technician for 3 years and an ICU Technician/Phlebotomist for a year. So, free health advice! Yes I will look at the sore on your 'sensitive area,' and no I don't think antibiotics will fix it! Sorry!

I am also legally required to tell you that I am a a registered forum troll in 3 states. It's a problem. I'm dealing with it. I'm sorry in advanced for that. Oh, and mumble happens to be my favorite voice server, don't ask why.

How much time do you spend a week on games?
Oh god, do I have to really try to put this into numbers? Hm. I'm sure I peak at 40+ hours a week when I'm really into a game. Right now I'm unemployed while I wait to take my licensure exam, however when I do begin working I will only work 3 days a week. My girlfriend works almost every day, so that gives me a lot of free time haha.

Is there anything else you would like to throw in here at the end?
I should mention my schedule may soon be in flux once I get a job - most new graduate RNs are stuck working nights. I will be getting my Master's starting next year though, which will probably put me back on normal people time.

Also, I know I have only been registered for a short time, and I was intending to troll around for a few weeks before filling out this application, but I have a really great feeling about this community and I'm down for elopement immediately.

Let me know if you need anything from me!

Have you finished all of the prerequisite requirements?
Yes (I read and replied to the rules, I understand I must be active on the forums to stay on the roster, and I have a minimum of 1-2 posts(other than this application), and I made sure those posts weren't just bullshit)
