Email Notifications

How do you turn them off? I turn off the options in the Alert Preferences and Browsing Preferences but am still getting notifications in my email everytime someone responds to a thread I posted in. It was good in the beginning but I'm getting like 100+ emails a day now and my phone is getting spammed....

Also make sure you are not subscribed to individual threads.

So the part with " Automatically watch threads that you create or when you reply..." should be unselected? or is it another option?
