well.. the open beta already ended so... If you wanna take a look I'm pretty sure the only person on youtube with permission from SE was Yogscastkim... look her up, she has some pretty cool vids from closed beta phase 3.
And yes, guys this game is NOT about anything revolutionary, NOTHING is new here. That is not what they were aiming at, they have a VERY solid traditional MMORPG based on the Final Fantasy franchise for "Us FF fanboys" out there. Nowadays everything has to be about what is next... what is NEW!!.. what is revolutionary!!... well look where that took GW2 in the end.
Yes it is slower paced than most new MMORPGs out now, it has nothing you can't find on other top tier mmos, so.... why I'm so pumped about it? well... the feeling, if you are not a FF fan then it's hard to explain, but it's a game where you don't actually rush to things, just chill do whatever you want, level whatever you feel like at the moment... (yes 1 character can have everything) and have some good old fun with it, not a race to endgame (you can still do this if it's your thing even though I feel most ppl don't care all that much about lvl rushing here).
It's catered towards somewhat more mature players with less spare time on our hands, that want to have some fun after work and enjoy the story and lore, party up do a dungeon or two or even raid at endgame... pretty straight forward.
After saying all that, the game isn't ALL easy, there will be challenges to be had and some tough fights, but don't expect hardcore WOW level of "enjoyment" here.
