Alright fellas, the big weekend is three weeks away! We have 10+ people going, and would like to remind those that either haven't seen the old post or the new people that many of us are indeed getting together for a Casino Weekend!

NOVEMBER 30 - DECEMBER 2

http://www.foxwoods.com/Default.aspx - For all of the information that one would need! This is the main casino that we would be gathered at. I am mainly a BlackJack player, but would be willing to learn other games that people are interested in. /coughCRAPScough

http://hilltopinnrt2.com/ - The hotel all of us are staying at. Still some good rates and if you can share with others, the better. I'll let you guys handle that accordingly.

http://www.foxwoods.com/momandel.aspx - The Comedy Show I would like to go to (with everyone). Right now I would suggest the 8PM Saturday show. It's about 20 dollars (+2.50 fee) for a ticket. It is 21+ with a 2 drink minimum, but yeah. It'll be fun. :)

http://www.foxwoods.com/cedars.aspx - The steakhouse that I would love everyone to go to for dinner. Be it Friday or Saturday, I would love it. FANASTIC meals. I suggest dress nicely, but not crazy nice. The dinner menu is pricey, but the lounge price is very reasonable. Other food places are definitely doable. But I would love to have a couple meals as a a group thing. This is just suggestion 1 as, well, it's one of my favorite places.

I'm probably not going to be doing any actual gambling, but I'm definitely on board for everything else.

What time are people expecting to show up that Friday? Did everyone end up at the same hotel and how are we meeting up?
 
Ahh. Caroline an I will be in te area probably at around 11 AM. As far as I know, everyone is at the same hotel. At some point when people confirm with me that they are going, I will toss out my number for getting together.
 
I am flying out Friday morning hopefully. I fly standby so I hope we dont get bumped all day. Also its like a 5 hr flight, so expect me sometime in the afternoon or later.
 
I really wish I could go (especially since Foxwoods is so close to where I stay in RI), but I'll be home in Texas from Nov 19 until sometime around Christmas (I haven't decided when yet).

Supposedly we get the deed for our Massachusetts condo on December 28, so after the new year I'll be a full-time New Englander. Yay and stuff!
 
I would love to do dinner on Friday night at the place Bruce wants to go to. So I'm really going to try and have us there by a reasonable time >.< Stay tuned! (Bruce I'll text you a little closer to the date).
 
Tig, I believe Bradley is the closest, I'm 20 mins from there. I think Norwalk has an airport..
 
Party crashers welcome... though I suppose that would make them no longer party crashers... anyway I'll put in at work for that Friday off and see what happens.
 
I found an airport that's about 30 miles away. I think the city code is pvd. we will probably fly there and rent a car to the hotel. Looks like even if we leave friday morning we will get to the hotel in the evening cause of the flight time and time change.

The key here for anyone who has never gambled before is to set a limit before you go and leave your cards at home or locked up in the hotel room or something. I personally have never been myself but a lot of my buddies at work go occasionally and this is the way to go so it makes it harder for you to just keep going.
