GW2 Gold to gems conversion thread

TIG

I like GOOOOOLLLLD!
Here is a new spreadsheet that will show you what a gem store item costs in terms of coppers if you pay for the gems in gold.

All you have to do is change the box in blue to reflect how many gems you can buy with 1 gold.

all the rest of the numbers are in terms of copper, so 100 copper is 1 silver and 1,000 copper is 10 silver and 10,000 copper is 1 gold.

The boxes in green is how much you should sell 1 single item (dye, mini or key) accounting for the trading post 15% cut.

If anyone has any questions about this hit me up here or ingame. (tig browncoat)

Damn I love Spread sheets. I wish I could see the high, average, and low of each gem, not each '100' gems sold on the TP. *sigh*

But I do have a comment about the spread sheet. I personally think the 50c per gem is actually the worst price you can get. I don't believe the TP lets you pay less than that.
50-55c will buy me one gem... but right this second, 55 silver will buy me close to 200 gems.
Surely to god its not something like a non-linear equation when it comes to exchanging gold for gems...

I do like your spread sheet... but I might steal it and edit it some if you don't mind.

feel free. I didnt want to get as complicated as tracking over time. the way it is set up is just to tell you the price at the moment.
