Arcanix WILL Dominate the World!
First off I know some of this may be common knowledge to some of you more seasoned WvWvW guildies out there but the post is aimed at giving everyone the general knowledge for when we roll into the battle in force.
Numbers are important, but skill, tactics and teamwork are the gods of WvW
I cant stress this enough. The game is three weeks old and there have already been multiple instances of a single group(five people) of Arcanix members stalling or completely routing enemy forces that are two to three times their strength in numbers. The numbers who have participated in WvW so far have been small so we tend to run as a guerrilla force, taking supply points behind enemy lines and harassing keeps. We have very strong individual players who know their professions, and you couple this with teamwork and communication and we can't lose. We can only get stronger from here as guild members new to WvW try it out and learn from our more seasoned members.
SUPPLY SUPPLY SUPPLY
I see people outside the guild tend to ignore supply camps for some reason. This is sad considering they are quite possibly the most important capturable buildings in WvW. Your awesome, super shiny keep thats flying the Yaktopus isn't going to last for long without a stockpile of supplies for upgrades and defensive siege weaponry. Securing supply camps and defending supply lines is a vital part of dominating the battlefield. You may have a hundred people sitting in a keep defending but if you are getting bombarded by trebuchet and lack the supply to build your own and fire counter-artillery then your better off handing the other server the keys to the keep and head for greener pastures.
As a side note, always remember to grab supplies when you have a moment. Your character can carry 10 supplies and not carrying 10 at all times when you aren't stationary in a keep is a detriment to your squad's flexibility and your team in general.
Know your Siege Equipment
Copy pasta'd from the wiki.
Siege weapons are environmental weapons that can be built to accomplish a particular purpose. For instance, arrow carts and cannons are very effective against groups of enemies, while ballistae and trebuchets are ideal for breaking down doors and walls.
To create a siege weapon, a player uses a blueprint, purchased from a siegemaster or obtained from loot, to create a build site. Construction is performed by spending supply at that site and once construction is completed, the siege weapon can be used.
The following siege weapons are available:
With the exception of the siege golem, all siege weapons are stationary and cannot be moved.
For example in my opening picture there is a catapult on the left and Brown and I are manning Ballistas on the middle and right.
Don't Underestimate NPC camps
While there are many guards that spawn in the supply depots, towers, keeps and Stonemist, I am referring to neutral NPC camps located in the different maps. For example in the Eternal Battlegrounds there are a few different Hylek and Ogre camps located throughout the map that a server can capture once it completes a dynamic event in said camp. These are not to be scoffed at because they generally provide vendors that SELL siege equipment blueprints, alternate routes through the battlefield and sometimes skill points inside the camps. I don't know about anyone else, but the ability to restock on supplies and grab a blueprint or two while possibly out in enemy lines is invaluable.
I will add more to this as it comes to me. Everyone else is free to add their input as well. Now that I have been enjoying the PvE aspect of the game, I will definitely be going full throttle on the WvWvW.

The following siege weapons are available:
- Arrow Cart: fires a volley of arrows, dealing significant damage to players but weak against structures.
- Ballista: fires a giant bolt, dealing heavy damage to structures and players in its path.
- Catapult: great for dealing with walls, gates, and clustered enemies.
- Flame Ram: rams gates at close range, dealing heavy damage to it.
- Siege golem: slow and short ranged but capable of dealing significant damage.
- Trebuchet: long-ranged rock thrower capable of dealing significant damage to players and structures alike.
With the exception of the siege golem, all siege weapons are stationary and cannot be moved.
