Hello From Boston

Hey peoples,

I saw the 1-2 post requirement so I'm padding my req with the obligatory Intro thread. I'm Bryan and I live near Boston, MA. I graduated from school with a BS in Biotech last May and I've been working part time jobs while I look for a full time research gig. I love hiking, frisbee, and swimming but I did some serious damage to my knee earlier in June so I've been hobbling around my small house since then playing W* more or less everyday. I'm still working on my attunement Silver dungeon step because SSM is an awful place I want to burn to the ground.

When I'm not playing WS, I play a lot of DOTA2 and SMITE. I'm also really into SF, BlazBlue, CSGO, and BF4. Hopefully no one here has received any of my hateful, poorly arranged Thayd Trade haikus.

I'm just really hoping to get involved with a decent community who intends on sticking it out and pushing buttons.
 
Hey Gratgriz, nice to meet you! I'm right there with you on the silver dungeon attunement portion. Got so close to Storm Talon last night.
 
WAHOO! MORE BOSTONIANS! We need more sox fans up in here (even if you're not a sox fan please pretend for me >_>)

Oooh and a Smite player too. I currently have a legendary Ymir and AMC, but I haven't really touched it much since WS launch. Hearing some rumors of Ao getting a massive rework soon though.

It's such a nice feeling once you actually get it. I was having zero luck but then I got STL and KV in the same day. I did get stuck on SC after that though. Now all I have to do is pray for good optionals in SSM.

I have that hometown pride for the sox but I really don't enjoy baseball as much as I enjoy hockey (ty lord for getting Bergeron on the cover of NHL'15).

I've also been neglecting SMITE since WS came out. SMITE is my solo queue game so it's been getting the short end of the stick since DOTA2 takes precedence since I play with some of my longtime RL friends.

Oh another hockey fan?? Woot woot. I'm originally from LA so...yknow...go Kings! *ponydurr:

There really is something special about being on boston when the Sox are in town. Have to admit I never got into hockey, but I prefer the Bruins over the Celtics any day of the week. Nothing like taking the commuter rail from NH only to be right at the Garden.

It didn't seem appropriate to make an entire new thread so I'm going to latch onto this one.

I was offered a primary slot in CTC's main raid roster last night, and I really want to accept that offer. Any of you are more than welcome to add me to contacts because I would still love to help anyone I can get through the Attunement chain. I've also spoken to a few members from AScendance who are looking for a guild who has plans on raiding but doesn't have a set roster yet. They should hopefully check out the website over the next few days.

Thank you so much for making me feel like a part of the community after being here only a few short days. Please do not be a stranger.
