How the Mals are losing weight

But I have no problems. On one side this is good, but on the other side, this means I have no motivation :/

I was like that too.. I really think the key is finding something you enjoy. When I was younger, since I was thin and moved around a lot bartending, I was really unmotivated... especially since I thought I should be doing cardio, which I really despise. Now I like lifting heavy things so much and feeling myself get stronger that I really regret it when I miss gym days.

The good thing about starting when you are in good health is you can make more gradual changes. Drop a meal a week that is unhealthy for a healthier one, drink an extra glass of water a day.

I totally understand it's hard to get motivated when you feel like you are in perfect health, but I have tons more energy than I ever did, I sleep better, I can carry 100lbs of groceries 2 miles home from the store and not be winded, etc.. in retrospect, it would have been nice to have more years of that.

There are so many areas where this has had a positive impact on my life that I hardly know where to start - but perhaps the one that is most universal is that by giving up non-veggie carbs I find my energy is MUCH more consistent throughout the day. I don't suffer from the after lunch lull, and my job performance has actually improved due to this change. And that's not just me thinking it, it was actually noted on my last performance review, plus a bunch of coworkers have said things as well.

For me sweet stuff is no problem. I am mainly drinking water, and if somebody gives me a 50/50 mixture of water and apple juice I usually have to add more water because it is to sweet for me. Same goes for sweets.
My main problem is that I cannot get my ass up, after I come home from work. I had a cross-trainer were I trained everyday for 6 months without much result. Then there was christsmas and it was in the way so we put it in the basement because we needed the space for the tree, and never brought it back up.
But I am going to buy the dumbbells that were suggested on the first page, maybe with these I can work out. I´ve already changed my eating habit (1 less meal a day, vegetarian food at lunch) 1 month ago, so this part is already done. I will let you know how it works out.

More keto'ers!

I am not alone ;_;

I've been on keto for what...months now? I don't need to "cut", as opposed to some of the people that do keto, but it just FEELS GOOD overall; I have more energy, more motivation, and I'm rarely (if ever) hungry. The abiility to eat tons of almonds makes it even more justifiable in my mind v_v

Cheese does get expensive, though >_>
Anyway, I'm sure this was TMI, but frankly, I wish someone had pointed out to us we didn't need to do 90 minutes of cardio a day to lose weight before we let it get out of control. If I'd started lifting earlier.. I could be eating everything in sight without all of this cutting business :p
...90 minutes o_o, wat?

I don't know when you'll be starting the SS lifting program, but I sure as all hell can say that it's a great beginner program! Most beginners do not need to "bulk" early on in order to see results, at least as far as I was concerned, but it can't hurt as long as it's clean. You probably know your basics, what with compound movements and adjusting weights as time progresses, so all I can say is: STICK TO IT! =D

They also dont mention if you want results like that you need proper nutrition and sleep. Like everything else you have to look past the marketing bullshit and get to what the product is really about, working your ass off.
