What games do you wish to play with the alttabme community?
Wildstar

Class/Race(if applicable)
N/A

What role do you wish to play in the guild? For example: PvP, PvE, Casual/Social
I dabble in everything. I want to run with groups and tackle content either casually or hardcore. I enjoy PvP and PvE and want to do both. I will do some hardcore raiding if my work schedule allows it. If not, I don't mind doing random dungeons or not-so-hardcore raiding on the weekends when it's available. I'm not extremely social, so I won't talk much, but I like to have people to do content with and to be available to do content with other people. I will be going out of my way to earn achievements and collect things, so expect that.

Which previous MMO's or online games have you played and how long for?
I played WoW for about 8 months. Enough time for me to collect 102 mounts. I played Rift for a while, and got sucked into the world of collecting there too. But that only lasted a short while, as none of my friends stuck around.

I actually played the Old Republic for about 6 months when it came out. It only lasted that long due to being in a great guild and getting into the hardcore raiding. Being first on the server to tackle the hardest difficulties of the raids was an addicting feeling.

Were you a part of a guild? What was your experience?
I was, mostly in SWTOR. We had a good group. I served as one of the guild officers and mostly monitored chat and such (it was a large guild) to make sure everyone respected each other and help keep disputes resolved and to a minimum. I also helped with running raids (I mostly helped with figuring out the role of the ranged DPSers in fights and keeping them on track).

How did you hear about the AltTabMe?
I saw your recruitment post for Wildstar on... Wildstar Central, I think it was.

What will you bring to the ALTTABME community? (Chatty? Skilled? Funny? Helping?)
Well, I like to think of myself as skilled at games, but I'm certainly not the most elite. I do like to learn all I can about a game and will hopefully become a source of knowledge for people who want to know how to build a character or find some random item in the world.

I also like to be helpful when I can. I'm not above running around helping people finish quests or escorting them through a confusing jump quest.

How much time do you spend a week on games?
Not all the much at the moment, due to not being in an MMO. After that... I expect at least a few hours a day. More on weekends.

Is there anything else you would like to throw in here at the end?
I'm a pretty shy person (my closest friend is convinced that I have AS). I have a hard time making emotional connections with people and I rarely speak up about things. After I get to know some people really well, I will open up. It'll just take quite a while. Text communication makes things a lot easier.

Have you finished all of the prerequisite requirements?
Yes (I read and replied to the rules, I understand I must be active on the forums to stay on the roster, and I have a minimum of 1-2 posts(other than this application), and I made sure those posts weren't just crap)

I've been waiting a bit for this one :)

Overall your presence on the site has been a pretty good one. Not super crazy active, but enough where I feel like you can be a great addition. Don't worry about being too shy, we try our best to keep an open atmosphere. Take your time and enjoy it. Over time hopefully you'll get more comfortable with the people here that you can upgrade from text to talking on mumble, as that will be a requirement down the road for group stuff (such as pvp and raids with the guild). But at the moment, get cozy and post when it feels right :)

+1

Gyoin on point with responses today. Yeah I must stress Mumble is a requirement for gaming here. So just make sure you know that moving forward. Other than that, great app, great presence. Welcome aboard.

Side note, I am the total opposite of you, I hate text and txting because it is so removed. I miss the good ole days where it wasn't an option. But I suppose in your case it works out well. Se la vi :)
