Go go Baldo! I'd have one here, but getting one is basicslly like torture to them. It gets waaaayyyyyy to hot and they do (not might) die of overheating during the summer time if you don't keep them inside all day.

Do people still rake? Isn't it well known that mowing them into tiny pieces and leaving them on the yard to compost over the winter is much healthier for your lawn?

I usually mow after I've raked the majority. I have just too many leaves to mow them all.

if its that the seed its a sweet gum tree. My grandmomther had one in her yard where we would play tag bare foot until everyone quit so i know your pain man.
