Until playing GW2 i have been a much more single player game, playing series such as the elderscrolls and other rpgs sinse i was 8 or so. This is the first MMO where i've truly been drawn in to the world.
Were you a part of a guild? What was your experience?
I have never been part of a guild, instead i played with people i could contact through my friends list.
How did you hear about the Guild?
Youtube and possibly forums
What will you bring to the ALTTABME community? (Chatty? Skilled? Funny? Helping?)
once i get going i can be pretty chatty, i've also found that when i started playing this game i treated it more like a single player game, which lead me to grasping melee based professions and movement in the game very quickly. I'm no pro gamer but i can hold my own.
I hope i'm funny but i wouldn't want to say myself
Most of all i would like to be helping in a community, i know quite a lot of information on the lore of the series sinse the first game (i love the charr lore especially) , and also alot on the crafting aspects, i can also act as the font of useless information if needs be!
Will Arcanix be the only guild you join?
Aside from a small guild which will be a collection of friends i know, this would be my only guild.
Is there anything else you would like to throw in here at the end?
Usually in MMOs i have been nervous to join guilds, after experiencing some that close friends were part of i originally developed the idea that they could be too pushy or get too angry at things that were so trivial, or that seemed fun. When i watched the podcasts of this guild i was much more hopeful and decided to try and apply because of the opportunity to make some close friends in a game i very much enjoy. You all emphasised on the importance of friendship and fun in games, and thats pretty much all i've wanted in my life of trying mmos.
