GW2 Legendary Video Thread

I guess the I guy who made the Legendary Trident just wanted to be first. I mean, how is he suppose to show off his legendary trident to the people roaming around lions arch if hes not underwater.

I think he said he was going for the scepter but was severely disappointed with it so just used the stuff to make the trident.

Yeah, the guy's reasoning (from Reddit) was:

Heh I wouldn't call myself brave. I got a little disheartened after seeing the lack of special effects on the legendary scepter. I was already pretty burnt out on the grind and about to give up, but Kraitkin was ~100g cheaper to craft so I figured I'd just do that instead so people who are curious can see it.

It's a pretty sweet Trident.. shame you can't see it on land.

Saw that. world first eternity. the crazy thing is its not soulbound on create, only soulbound on use. you cant sell it on the tp but you can mail it or trade it between your account until its equipped.

If you can get Eternity in less than 2 months, I'm pretty sure everyone in Lions Arch will have them in 6 months down the line.

I really wish the moot was a little more seriously themed. I love the effect, but not everyone wants to walk around trying to save a world from collapsing under the power of the Elder Dragons wielding a disco ball.

Some of these legendaries don't seem to be worth the effort, besides the greatswords (personally I only like Twilight) a lot of them I feel are mediocre.

I'm of the same mindset. I prefer simple, elegant weapons like the Krytan models. All of these feel extremely flashy.

I might make Bolt and/or Twilight someday, but I'm more than content with Khrysaor and a Krytan Sword for now.

Since my playtime has dwindled to a more casual approach, my enthusiasm for creating a legendary has died off. Sadly that leaves me with a ton of gold with little aspiration for it.
