FIRST SEMI-ANNUAL [TAB] GUILD GAMES
For Wildstar
Just like the title suggests we are holding our first Semi-Annual Guild Games for the Wildstar launch/pre-launch. Which means we hope to hold more games with varies different ideas and prizes in the future. Annually would be to long so we are going to go with Semi Annually so everyone can keep their excitement going and will want to come out again for the next games. We have a lot of awesome games for you to play with prizes in store for those of you who win. The winner of each event will win a prize. To be announced closer to the Game date.
The games will be Beta weekend 4, May 2-4. On SATURDAY, 2 p.m. - 6 p.m. EST
MUMBLE IS RECOMMENDED WHILE TAKING PART IN THESE GAMES, WE NEED TO BE ABLE TO COMMUNICATE WITH YOU AND GET INSTRUCTIONS ACROSS TO YOU.
ALTTABME MEMBERS NEED TO BE ON TO WIN A PRIZE BUT NOT TO PARTICIPATE.
Everyone is allowed to participate. So come out, grab a beer and lets get this party started. Listed below are a few of the people who are going to be helping with this event. If you want to volunteer either talk with me or get with one of the other officers. I will be present during ALL games and am more than welcome to answer any questions.
HOVERBOARD RACES
First Game on the list is hoveboard races. We will start at one point on the map, race to another point where one of our helpers will be, turn around and race back to the finish line. The route is not a set route, you can go whichever way you think is the fastest, however you have to reach the first helper before you can turn around. This will help turn away cheaters.
- Must have a hoverboard to participate.
- Cannot use any other forms of speed booster.
- Point A is starting point and Point B is the turning point, with 3-5 points in between where you will have to either /bow /wave to pass to the next point and continue onwards, must come and circle final Judge, last leg back to point A.
FASTEST CLIMBER
This event will take place at some of the tallest points in the game. The objective of this game will be for you to reach the highest point before the others. Just like in the previous game we will have two judges judging to make sure that things go smoothly. One judge at the top to determine the winner and one judge at the bottom the start the race.
- Starting at the Base must make their way to the top of the area where the judge is located.
- Anything goes on this course.
RUN FOR THY LIVES BUT DON'T DIE
This will be this last game of the games and we need to go out with a boda bing bada BOOM. This will be a pretty large event broken up into multiple groups. We are going to take turns running through high level areas with some support characters. Your job is to stay alive WHILE not fighting. That is what your escort/bodyguard is for. You will have to make it further than the other people to win this event. If you die in the same place as someone else then the quickest person to reach that point will be the winner. If multiple people make it to the end without dying. The group with the fastest average time will get the point.
- Point A to Point B
- You are the Princess and must be protected by your hired thugs.
- Being a princess you are not allowed to engage in fighting. You can only give encouraging words or some entertaining words to rally your troops.
- Your group will go multiple times changing princesses so the run times will be fair with many chances to get through.
MOST DANGEROUS SELFIE IN THE WORLD!
This event is mostly for fun and will not count towards the end prizes for the previous games. The objective of this game is for you to run into a high danger zone, get as close to a monster you can and take a selfie! The way to win this event is, 1) you will have to get through the area alive (you can't just run in take a selfie and die) 2) you will be graded by multiple judges based on closeness, danger, and monster toughness. This event will take more than a few days so don't worry if you can't finish it the day of the games. It will also take the judges some time to evaluate the selfies.
- Get to any area in the game.
- Take a screenshot selfie of you fighting a mean green killing machine.
- Finish the fight without dying and take another selfie next to its corpse.
- This will be a weekly event and will have its own area to post pictures in.
Now if you are still with me i commend you for making it this far reading through this wall of text. That in itself deserves a reward.
The winner of these games will have the honor of leading us in a thousand army run through the wonderful world of Wildstar and the winner gets to have bragging rights until they have to pass the torch on to the next Games winner.
