Mission Suggestions for "The War"

Submit useless, contradictory, or simply dumb social norms.

Example: Why are pajamas considered not suitable to wear outside of the home? As long as your skin is covered.. why is it unacceptable? (Coverage of skin is a gold mine for contradictory norms!) This isn't the best example. I'm saving better ones for submitting later!

bikinis can be worn on the beach no probem, can even be worn whilst walking down the street in some hot places...pretty much a water proof set of underwear, but if a girl was to wear a bra and panties it would be socially unacceptable even in the same places bikinis are seen as ok
never understood this. not complaining mind, just saying.

Exactly. It was one of the examples I was thinking of. :)

I agree. Some bikinis are more revealing than bras and panties. Should totally be ok to wear them same as bikinis. Although I don't know how comfortable it would be to swim in some bras. The material can get kind of annoying.

I've got a challenge: Guys have to wear skinny jeans (pics or it didn't happen) while gals have to wear baggy jeans with sag. More points the longer you can prove you wore them.

I got a good one, albeit early, but hear me out here..

We are lucky enough to be part of a great community (Arcanix of course!) that plays an amazing game. One of the highlights of this game for me, is that I don't have to shell out $20 a month to play it. I played WoW far too long and paid way too much for an experience that could have been free.

Now here's my challenge, and my vote is to make it a December challenge. Take that $15 USD or w/e the cost of a subscription game would be for the month of December and donate it. Doesn't matter where, but try to make sure it ends up with an organization that is aiding children over the holidays. I think we take a lot for granted in our lives, and the fact that so many of us are able to build these gaming machines, buy the games, and spend all evening playing them, says a lot for the comfort that exists in our lives.

So very plainly, my challenge is to donate some cash this/next month to some children who don't get the same vidya game experience that we probably had growing up. Don't get too caught up in buying all the xmas crap that will show up in the gem store, instead, make someone else smile.

Proof will be awkward of course, but you can throw a screenshot or a pic up, or just be honest.

One organization I've heard a lot about (and personally donated to, both privately and via the Humble Bundle's) is Child's Play (http://www.childsplaycharity.org/testimonials). Feel free to check out the website, I linked the testimonials specifically since it'll get you all right in the feels.

Personally, I work with children and can attest to how good a sense of achievement can be for a child. You may see a kid come to school or daycare every morning and know they just had a shitty night and day. They probably got yelled at, they probably didn't have enough to eat. But I'm telling you, you watch that kid laugh and smile as they complete a new level in Super Monkey Ball, and you'll understand the healing power of vids..

Go out for whatever reason you have that day and remember the route you took: when you come home, put it* into Google Maps and post the link so that everyone can enjoy the (more or less) same view you enjoyed that day. Bonus points if you actually walked the distance. More bonus points if you provide a couple photos to compare with what Google Streetview claims your surroundings looked like.

*mapping it from your actual home/workplace not a requirement, obviously, just pick a public intersection reasonably close to your starting point

EXTREME BONUS POINTS if someone then stalks and kills you on said route.

Nah, extreme bonus points if the you stalk the person that got more points than you and kill them, obviously.
Thinking it through again, I guess not everyone lives in cities with a population of millions and usually go through public/touristy places even when they have to go get groceries :D

Just thought of a mission. Post a youtube video. The next person has to post a video that the first word in the title is the same as the last word in the title of the previous post.

eg. first video:

and the next video:
