Do you have any friends in the guild? If so, who?
Aren't you all my friends?
Character Name(s)
Nadrik, Nadrok, Nadrix, Nadrox...You'll know it's me
What games do you wish to play with the alttabme community?
WildStar, and potentially GW2 and PS2 if I pick them back up.
Class/Profession(if applicable)
N/A As of now
What role do you wish to play in the guild? For example: PvP, PvE, Casual/Social
I play all aspects of any game I'm currently playing, but I'm certainly more casual than I have been in the past.
As for character roles, I tend to enjoy being a tank type character more than anything else. Maybe it's just my inflated ego talking, but I enjoy being the primary reason for a groups success or failure. Keeps me on my toes
Which previous MMO's or online games have you played and how long for?
It'd honestly be a shorter list if I wrote out what I hadn't played. I'll just list games I've spent more than a year playing to keep it simple.
MMOs:
UO - 2 years
Shadowbane - Around 3 years
DAoC - ~1.5 years
WoW - On and off since beta, still playing
FPS:
Quake - 5 years
CS - 2 years
TF2 - Almost 6 years
Were you a part of a guild? What was your experience?
I was a part of a RPPvP guild called The Shipwrecked Pirates for the better part of a decade. I still really like the guys there and continue to keep in touch, but I just don't have it in me to be in-character 100% of the time (in public channels).
While I was a part of TSP we were extremely competitive in the PvP aspects of any games we played, most of all in Shadowbane. We actually had a phone tree set up so we could call the guild to wake everyone up if our city happened to be attacked over night. Needless to say that those days are over for me, I'll simply never be that hardcore about a game ever again.
While I still do have my competitive nature, I'd rather have fun and lose than be stressed out and win these days.
How did you hear about the Guild?
Recruitment post on the WildStar forums
What will you bring to the ALTTABME community? (Chatty? Skilled? Funny? Helping?)
Well I'd like to think that I'm not only a fun person to hang out with, but I'm also an extremely skilled player. I play to have fun these days first and foremost, but I don't enjoy losing. I always try to squeeze everything I can out of myself and my characters.
More than anything I just enjoy playing with other people. So if anyone ever needs help with anything, chances are if I'm online I'll be there to help in a heartbeat.
I may or may not also be known to break out into song when I've been drinking.
Will [TAB] be the only guild you join?
In games where the guild has a presence, yes. In games where [TAB] has no official presense I will continue to join random in-game guilds just so I have someone to play with. Playing alone sucks.
How much time do you spend a week on Guild Wars 2 or other games?
Depends on what I have going on that week, but usually pretty easily at least 20+ hours
Is there anything else you would like to throw in here at the end?
As I mentioned in my intro, what I'm looking for is a "home" for gaming. A group of people I can move from game to game with, and have fun the entire time. I think this might be the place, and I look forward to gaming with all of you!
Have you finished all of the prerequisite requirements?
Yes (I read and replied to the rules, I have a minimum of 5 posts, I made sure those posts weren't just bullshit)
