New Rig Build ?

The real question is what you need the system for and what performance you want out of it. Gaming? 3d rendering? just email and internet? Video editing? Once you know the most you will do with it you can then decide on where you need to spend big bucks and where you can save the cash.

So this build will be a strictly gaming computer and I wont use it for anything else. I have the one I'm using now to do all the other essentials on.
I wanna get the best gaming experience out of this Rig as possible for around $1,000.00 With that in mind, I wanna have great graphics, super capable of running future games at optimum speeds, and a good cooling system with out any overheating problems. I some how I can intregade a Red/Black color theme into that, that would be what im ultimately trying to go for.
also at the very begin of this thread Simpwn changed what I had around to this. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1kcq1

Is this what I'm looking for or what should I change to make it better to aim for that goal? I'm really noobie at this so I dont really know.

I don't know a whole lot about building computers but I've been looking into it as I plan to build one or two in a few months for Velorra and I. The build Simpwn did for you looks good for the $1k. I'd preferably would want a 700+ series video card and a SSD but those would put you closer to $1400+.

If you dont mind can you take a look at my setup and give me your opinion on it? Keep in mind that I am trying to aim for optimum performance on a strictly gaming only setup, and get the most bang for my buck. I would also like to keep my red and Black theme I have if at all possible.

I highly recommend against Radeon cards. Nvidia like Intel is just dominating the market right now in terms of raw power per bang for your buck.

Also that case is damn expensive for a no name.

other than that I don't see any issues. But then again I am not a ram specialist, so I can't speak for that part of it.

Not to mention that Radeon cards have an anti-aliasing issue when used in conjunction with Intel processors. You may or may not notice this, but it technically is there.

Also I hate Radeon's driver update system, or at least how it works on this laptop. The Nvidia one on my desktop makes so much more sense.

Yeah i have a Radeon and the driver updates are fucking horrible. But other than that no problems with it

Great thanks for your help. When looking for a great graphics card for this build, Can you possible make a suggestion to the better quality one's out there? I am also looking to get a better cpu if it will increase my performance and gaming experience to maybe a higher end i5 or a not to expensive i7. Once again just trying to get the most bang for my buck, and I have decided to increase my budget alittle as I wasnt even getting close to my orginal budget.

Also as far as the case goes I am already going to purchase the cooler master case you suggested. While it doesnt have the flash and flare the case I chose, I see an extreme amount of potential in upgrades in the future without having to worry about overheating with the cooler master case.

Finally, I am wanting to keep everything cooled down, beyond the intial super gaming performance im trying to get, I dont wanna have any issues with overheating. With that in mind, Can I just use some fans installed in that case, or would I be looking at having to get a water cooling system?

Thanks a ton for all your help.

*Edit

On another note I also wanna make sure that my motherboard is gonna work for that cooler master case.

Unless your useing two graphics cards and overclocking i don't think you should need liquid cooling, just grab a CPU cooler like the one simpwn recommended and you will be fine. And im pretty sure that motherboard will fit in the case no problem.

Also an i5 is MORE than enough for EVERY game out there. i7's just allow for more cycles per overclock.

I'm not sure what overclocking is. To me it sounds likes overusage of something. If thats the case I run my current computer alot. It actually rarely gets turned off, because I'm on it so much. As for the coolers, thx I went with the cooler master one as most of my stuff is already cooler master anywayz. My last concerns here is my PSU. Do I have enough power to run everything here?

Also a side not as I'm assuming that cooler master case wont come with any fans, and I need to buy them. Can you suggest a place to pick up some Red LED fans for the case you linked me? Also which fans are better for cooling, two small ones or one big ass fan. Thanks again in advance.

Oh man. I feel like if I don't know exactly the right answers here I am going to put you in a world of pain because a part might not work, fit, etc. I don't know enough to answer ya on that to be honest. Overclocking is nothing you need to worry about which is why the generic heatsink will probably be fine and you wouldn't even need an aftermarket one. Overclocking is a setting to make the computer run faster than it is intended boosting the heat exponentially.

My cooler master came with most of the fans needed, but they aren't LED ones. So if you want to pick those up later you could probably do that. I have a cooler master hafx btw. Love it.

ok nps not really that concerns then about overclocking as I wont be doing that. What about some Red LED fans. Best ones to get? one big fan or two medium fans? I'm ok the way the case will come? If i need fans where can I go to look at some. How do I know whats a good fan what isnt?

Would like to know the best thing to do for my setup.
