I also am not sure what exactly VBA stands for, however in a few clicks you can easily open a browser from Excel.
I mean, you're just looking for some new input. No harm no foul right?
There's plenty of Data that helps you do your job on the net.
It even saves your last search / webpage
EDIT: although that feature may have no power over firewalls, VBA could do a lot more.
