My 2 cents:
I love cigars, never got into pipes because I saw them as yet ANOTHER outlet for me to spend MORE money. I'm already a wine snob, cigar snob, soon to be beer snob, and a professional chef....I really dont need another expensive hobby! But what I can tell you from my experience with wine and cigars....you just have to start smoking...try different things, and then stick with what you like, just never be afraid to try that new thing. And document everything! I have notebooks upon notebooks of different wines and cigars I've tried. I take pictures of the ones I REALLY like and save them for later use. It's helped a LOT.
There's really no right or wrong, its all about what you like! And...the women....FUCK EM IF THEY CANT TAKE A PUFF. Or you taking a puff.
PS: Look on YT for smoke ring videos. I had my dive instructor show me how to do this underwater....Its Awesome watching them come up from underneath you! I think I have a picture somewhere....lemme dig.
