I've never stuck with an mmo for more than 6 months. I guess the last mmo that I played for more than a month would be GW2, which I stopped playing in April. I played Defiance for 1 week (about 50 hours) and got bored, tried Tera and didn't like it (I really didni't give that game a chance - played for about 2 hours). I've most recently been playing Marvel Heroes, which has its flaws, but is still kind of fun (not a traditional mmorpg). And I re-subbed to SWTOR last month. I forgot how much fun Huttball can be!

The more I hear about Wildstar, the more I want to play! Warplots sound like a lot of fun. And I've never played an mmo with housing options, so that will be interesting :eek:mg:

I original came from COD 1 I was a FPS fan from quake and unreal days but I also loved RTS I played C&C and I loved Warcraft 3which got me interested in wow. I played wow from beta up to end of Cata, I have played SWTOR loved the levelling raided was cleared in days and was left with nothing to do so left that for GW2 maxed out no raiding and wvwvw just sucked "Oh look follow the big zerg group here and here to win...." I also tried Tera didn't like how perverted the characters were how does a tank wearing heavy armour that only covers 20% of the body be armour??
After this I played Defiance for 100 hours bought bored and my mate quit playing leaving me alone and I didn't like the PVP much since everyone goes cloak and snipes you. Plus the only way to get better loot is much like Mess Effect 3's multiplayer reward system (pay in-game cash or real cash for a chance loot when you open the chest). Worse still if you wanted a sniper you might get 4 orange shotguns..

ATM I have been playing single player games Skyrim, Space marine (big war hammer 40k fan), Darksiders. I have pre-ordered Starbound and edge of space (I like sandbox games).

I was interested in ESO but then a friend mentioned Wildstar so I was like "Ok I'll look into it (10 mins later after typing in Youtube What is Wildstar) Dude This looks awesome it's go tons of humour and personality I must have this game"

I've spent a month or two in pretty much every AAA MMO that's come out in the past decade, but only stayed committed to two. My first was Asheron's Call where I played for 4 years. I then switched to WoW when it launched and discovered raiding, and that's where the bulk of my time was spent. I quit after the first tier of Cataclysm. My biggest over-hyped disappointments were AoC, WAR and TSW (why didn't I learn my lesson with Funcom the first time?). Recently I've been dabbling in various non-MMO games, but I've been hook-line-and-sinker bursting with excitement waiting for Wildstar.

Am I the only one who enjoyed AoC, WAR and even TSW? Maybe because I started playing after the first month....

AoC at launch was amazing, until you left the starter area. WAR was an amazing concept poorly executed. And TSW was the game I thought I'd be devoted to, only Funcom just doesn't have the deep pockets needed to support their vision.

At least, that's my take on it. :)[DOUBLEPOST=1378746177,1378746026][/DOUBLEPOST]Oh, and as for the poll, I picked "First MMO since WoW" even though that's not technically true. Lis and I have tried EVERY MMO since we quit WoW, but none have stuck with us. But based on what I've seen and what I've heard, plus some conversations with the devs last year at Pax East, I'm really, REALLY hopeful that WildStar is our next big MMO. :)

AoC was amazing about 3 month after launch. Most bugs have been fixed, and the questholes has been filled. I agree on you with WAR.
TSW would have been an amazing single-player game.
