I have been a huge fan of the FR-S/BRZ since its conception, but I am afraid that a lot of the models will be utterly lost on who they are sold to. I'm sure a lot of people will buy them with the intention of them being drag cars, stoplight racers, etc... which they are not. They aren't meant to be extremely powerful, just balanced. Still, a great platform. My only dislike is the stock wheels... it's been a while since I thought stocker's were just hideous. I hate them.

I really have never been a HUGE ES fan after the generation you have b/c they just look like pansied Camry's (in fact I'd almost rather HAVE the Camry than the ES) but the 2013's are ridiculously gorgeous. I think it's the new design-language that Lexus has.

I'm in love with the GS 400 my friend has a 98, I followed him out of the dealership today thinking about how many cars I would have to sell to get the 2012...lets just say A LOT!!!
I sell Scion also and I have to say that I'm not that crazy about anything but the FRS...that thing has one purpose to take corners as fast as possible, The first one I sold was to a 65 year old lady as her daily driver..I told her to " Let the Horses out" and she took us to 50mph...good times!
Also the 2012 es is a Camry and I think that's what you get, lots of cross over still the SE Camry with the 3.5 and 268HP is lots of fun now that the have the rear sway bars and reverse coiled front springs...but alas I drive a 1.5L Prius LOL!!!!
 
I'm a fan of the styling on the new tC and I am in love with the color Cement >.>

If only they were R/AWD... Sad they don't make the Celica anymore... and that they never made a GT-Four/All-Trac of the last gen.

LOL Me to I always make fun of the name but thats my color, guess what camry motor!!! I like the front sway bar, gotta love those pure priced add ons
 
The guy that built my Subie has a 10 second 1.6 liter non vtec SOHC civic.. its fast in the quarter, but on the street its pretty monstrous up top. I have seen it dominate vipers, supras, muscle cars, bikes, everything :p

Over the years I have seen many fast civics. Never seen a fast TC though~
 
My main issue with FWD drag/power cars is that after a certain point... they turn into the same thing as well... drag cars. Good for one thing: straight line performance.

Don't get me wrong, a boost in the pants is like nothing else, but honestly I like handling as much or more than performance. Remember it's more fun to drive a slow car fast, than a fast car slow.
 
True, my subie was a blast to drive. The TA? A blast, but not in the corners~ Had the front swaybar out so the chassis would weight transfer left to right for dragging, that created lots of body rolls in an already boatish car in the corners. puke.

If I get my promotion at work soon, I will end up with another race car. Top of my list is EVO, but would also look at ls swapped 240s, rx-7s, or s2000s

I think your right, I don't see a whole lot of custom anything in my city scion wise!!! Lots of custom trucks tho.
XD and XB never been a fan...TC is a fun little car....F.R.S. made to turn on rails, But nothing that has over 200hp. Now when all the after market hits the shelf for the F.R.S. I think we are gonna see some pretty sweet Youtube vids of local drift tracks, like we do now of 86 corolla smoke-n everyone, F.R.S will impress everyone I'm sure!
 
Btw... ran into this on Friday. Turns out later when I go to hang out with my car friends on the way home from work, it was there. One of our group bought it last week and drove it home from California... We still question his actual 'profession' b/c the guy has like 6 highly built fox-bodies, a couple of vettes and a trans-am or two... and now this... Sick car though.

My boss just asked me today to find and buy an r8 for him to drive.

Have bought him in the past a couple of skylines, some super modified high dollar jeeps, land rovers, supercharged range rovers etc.

Skylines make me extremely moist. I'd love to have one.
