What's new

Post your RIDE!

Subies need so much more to make fast vs an Evo, that's why I went with what you see now. My stock turbo, stock motor is pushing 365hp, on 93.

The problem is the chassis just brings SO much money, one of the worst value go-fast platforms out there.

Still would love to rock one.

That subie was also on stock motor, just more fuel and a slightly larger turbo. If my injectors where a little bigger I could have made close to 420, but the 750cc injectors where really pushing it on fuel.

If I went with the turbo that I wanted (stock frame turbo), which I sold a few weeks ago I would've hit 420, still on 93. There isn't any close E85 stations here yet, so if anything i'd get an alky kit and raise the boost more. For now 27lbs is enough.

Your missing out on e85, its such easy power. If you click into my youtube channel from that dyno run, you can see the 93 octane run, all we did was suck out the 93, change up fuel trim/boost on the tune, and repull.

And yep, meth is the next best thing to e85 :D

me vs a pretty nasty full bolton cam/heads GTO. Listen to that EWG go~

vs a stage 2 wrx (I/E+tune)

Oh! Oh! My turn!

She's an all-original '73 Le Tour Deluxe. The body is all original with very few modifications. It's my daily rider.

Here you can see her with the original, factory paint job. Being the Deluxe model, it comes completely debadged and stripped aside from the steel Schwinn badge on the stem. I kept the original seat, pedals and kickstand for additional street cred.

The brakes were just swapped, but I retained the original brick-red colors throughout the pads, the bump-stops and the grommets. They were hard finds, but necessary as they match the wall of the tires.

The Sakae Custom bars have been with her from the beginning. Recently polished and hand-wrapped by yours truly for a few longer hauls.

One of my favorite shots of the whole piece. I am a 'the beauty is in the details' kind of guy and overly appreciate original Schwinn release lever tags. I still get a road boner every time I look at these.

yeah I know you are all jealous of this sweet ride.

Sad story is I had to mount those dual tires and they are about the size of me D:

*mount meaning put the tires on the wheels.

The government got me this baby a few years back. Rolls like a champ and very low power consumption.

I'd still like to see it. You have no idea how much I love cars. I have just as much love as I do for Exotics as I do old beaters... matter of fact there's nothing like pulling up to a car show in an old rare/vintage car where there's cars with enough power to scare a fighter jet and having people's jaws drop just because they're amazed to see one.

Dare I mention I have a huge love for that Generation of Camry... that and Lexus ES250's... such timeless design for a simple car.

I have never driven stick. I also didn't own a car until a few years ago since I decided to pay for college and didn't buy one until after. Pontiac Grand Am, 2005. Nothing crazy special. Got into a little dinger and had to replace the front bumper and right fender. Ended up buying aftermarket, me and a buddy put it back together but bought the wrong color spray paint, so I have a multi-gold colored car. Looks like no one under the age of 90 drives these cars besides me.

There is something else?
After driving stick for 12 years, I just bought an automatic. Stick is fun to drive normally, but as a commuting car, it's just a pain in the ass. Whenever I get my Wrangler some day, It'll be stick though.

Been driving sticks for years, when the chance came to buy the TA, it was an auto. Of course, it wa sa built auto for drag racing but it will still an auto and the car was technically still a 'street car'. So the car was everything else I wanted besides the auto so I bought it anyway. And you know, it wasnt as bad as I thought it would be, with traction control on I could even let the gf drive the car!

That being said, my 220k mile daily driver is about to get a stick transplant becuase 1.6 liter civics with autos dont go up hills very well~
