Every time you make an alt, you will not automatically be representing the guild on new characters even though you will be in the guild. Make sure you represent the guild on all the characters you make in 2 simple steps:
1. Hit the G button and you see this screen pull up.
2. Hit the Represent button at the bottom of the screen.
If you don't know if you are representing or not look at the box next to your name. If it has a bar through it you are not representing. If it is just a box then you are.
Here I am not representing yet, but Triage X is. (yes my gw2 account tag is Raawr)
The other way to tell is look at the bottom of your guild screen and if there is only a Stand Down button you are representing.
