What's new

Reviving game play with eachother.

So from what I gathered via Tristan's video, APB is a game about shooting at cars that fall out of the sky? Sounds dumb.
Watch this video, especially from 1:30 onward, if that doesn't light up that Second Life spot in your heart, then I don't know what will!

The various design booths are what sold me on APB back when it was released: To date, no other game even comes close to the customization options. I think I spent more time creating tattoos, designing clothes, and creating music in the game than actually playing it!

Yeah totally spending some time doing this today until people get on

Not really a group game I suppose, but I love Toribash. Which is a game that gives you full control over a human-like ragdoll that has orbs, which stand for every major muscle group. You can contract, extend, relax, and hold each muscle group as you please. Gameplay differs per game mode, but in something like Judo you each have 30 seconds to make your move(control the muscle groups) which runs for something like 70 milsecs on the timer or whatever the time up there is. When the replay is shown it moves full speed without the pauses in between to show you doing your moves. Oh and if you get curious about the character customization, that's done minecraft style, but you have to get points from winning matches overtime to unlock all of the customization stuff.

The first video has a bit of pvp, as well as just some typical demonstrations on a dummy. The second video is all break dancing, just to show the fluidity and control given to you. (None of this is easy, and you will have the hardest time just learning how to move at first)

I've been playing a little APB this week, but am generally getting my ass kicked and not earning much money fro fancy weapons, much less clothing.

It is unlike other shooters and most people are very skilled. So you have to roll as a group. Single and you are gonna get whooped.
