Were you a part of a guild? What was your experience?
Yes, very casual. I tried the officer thing in Wotlk, we focused on hard core raiding in Frozen Throne but after a while I felt I was neglecting my family in a big way, my 3 year old at the time was not getting the attention I needed to give him and it was a big eye opener for me. I decided at that point that I can not invest the time an officer needs to invest to be in that position, so i stepped down and became a casual raider in a number of pugs. My main focus at this point is to have fun, if we spend hours upon hours wiping....that is not fun and I will move on to something else. I am a leaf on the wind, watch how I soar.... High five for anyone who knows where that's from
How did you hear about the Guild?
GW2 facebook, watching you all jump off the diving board. I followed your links to your podcasts and decided this is what I was looking for in GW2.
What will you bring to the ALTTABME community? (Chatty? Skilled? Funny? Helping?)
I can be whatever the community needs me to be. I can be funny, helpful and supportive in the moments my guildmates need me to be. I am a good listener if someone is having personal problems I am very good at giving advice in my experiences in life.
Will Arcanix be the only guild you join?
Hard to say at this point in pre launch.
Is there anything else you would like to throw in here at the end?
You guys seems like the community I have been waiting for. I have tried a number of guilds in the first guild wars and some of my best experiences of supportive guilds were in WoW. But a number of my friends from WoW have moved on and are not planning on playing GW2, and the only friend that was planning on playing GW2 with me has passed away....I want to be in vent talking and chatting with people that are willing to hear my triumphs and are willing to share theirs with me as we progress in the world of Tyria together and develop freindships. That is what I would like to get out of this guild if you will allow me to join. Ohh and I have a beard.
