Steam summer sale

[DOUBLEPOST=1373920548,1373920352][/DOUBLEPOST]some good stuff up right now. Terraria, dust, castle crashers, bioshock infinite, mirrors edge. If you haven't played those and ever wanted to now is a good time to buy em.

Do not hesitate to grab The Walking Dead (-75%) if you don't mind point-and-click adventures with quick-time events. By the end of the last episode, I wept like a child - the story is incredibly involving, you really begin to care about some of the characters. It's quite the powerful piece of drama, and my personal "game of the year" of 2012!

The game is much better once you get through the first 1.5 chapters. Give it time and get invested and it'll pay off.

That is very cool. I spent under 10 buck for 2 games and one is never gonna get played again after my first 2 minutes. Still less than 10 bucks for (effectivly) one game I will have some fun with is worth it.

I haven't bought stuff on steam sale in the last 2 years though.

I bought a bunch of stuff, I think all within the 20 dollar range. Y's Chronicles (got burned on this one, /waste), Super Meat Boy, Evoland, Binding of Isaac ($1.25!), and something in Alpha I think called Under the Ocean(?). I'm also looking into a game that just launched alpha yesterday, but I'll make a big post about that soon to see if others want to play it.

I'm happy I didn't spend an extra dollar than what was in my steam wallet. Picked up a bunch of games too, but it was all paid for by selling cards prior to the sale. Steam just released a whole slew of new cards for games I already own too so my inventory is well stocked. I just need to wait for the market to rebound. During the sale the card prices dropped so low. I expect them to go back up to normal levels once the demand for cards increases again.
