Physics can be pretty awesome! So the mission, if you choose to accept it, is to post the BEST video or image description of a physics trick that we can all use at our next get together with friends and family. So we can look WAY cooler than we actually should!

GO GO GO!

This was always a classic for me as a child, here, and just click back to lab at the bottom to see more fun little experiments. Now these aren't super amazing but they are still pretty fun as I just love physics myself and all the amazing things it can do.

Well..if you have a squirrel on hand, I'd say this is pretty epic physics trick that I still don't understand..

I mean..how does he live??

Now this is the coolest trick I've seen yet, but this is definitely not practical. It will most likely not work either, because this was not done just with a cup and water. I'm pretty sure he coated the cup with something to make it work, but it's still cool, right? I just wouldn't try it at home anyways.

But if you actually wanna do something to show friends, this would be pretty cool..Slow. But cool!

Okay that stuff you can't do with frriends, but Walter Lewin must be the most awesome physics professor ever. OOh ya, he's Dutch.

OO I think I know what he does!!

I think he is using the torque! By spinning the string around back and forth, the torque between the string and the coin that develops moves it upward..but that's just me guessing. :3

It is a rubber band. The coin is actually NOT moving. He is just releasing tension, giving the illusion of motion. :)
