The Wolverine ... to 3D or not to 3D?

Has anyone here seen The Wolverine in 3D yet? Was it worth it or did it seem like an afterthought?

Saw it in the 2 dimensions, because glasses make 3D uncomfortable. The movie was good regardless, however.

I thought it was really good, but then again The Wolverine is my fav. I would have watched it in 2D if thats all they had. Great Movie

A Wolverine film, that sounds cool. First of its kind. What other wolverine film? I am sorry, you must be high, there wasn't a film called Xmen origins: Wolverine.

I wish the above was true......

I saw it in 3D because that's the only way to get the comfy seats over here for the most part.

But it doesn't need 3D. The 3D adds nothing to a quality movie.

I had a few gripes with the flick, but it was still pretty awesome.

What's the story on this one? Is this a sequel to Xmen Origins: Wolverine? I saw a few trailers that looked like there are some other XMen cameos (Jean Grey).

Eh, wha? I'm just wanting to know if the 3D used in the film enhances it or distracts from it. If it seems like it was done as an afterthought, like it is in many films, then 2D it is. :)[DOUBLEPOST=1375105804,1375105625][/DOUBLEPOST]

Other than what I saw in the trailers about him struggling with his mortality, I don't really know. But you know how trailers go - they can show something completely different than what the movie is actually about. I'm not a comic book guy, so I'm just in it for the action. :)

It's supposed to take place years after the "events" of X-Men -The Last Stand

So it does fit in the movie canon?
In the movie cannon, yes. Comic book cannon, you wish. They reduce his heading factor with a robot instead of it happening naturally. Of course this is good for the film cause he doesn't have to go fight the Hulk for some of his blood so that it will boost his healing factor again.

Wait, no Wolverine vs Huilk? How is that GOOD for the movie?

The Wolverine is a cartoon? I had no idea. I've got no interest in another Wolverine movie.

If there was a Hulk fight, I'd watch the clip on YouTube.
No I mean they already have a Hulk vs Wolverine cartoon (its on netflix) and a Thor vs Hulk one too. The wolverine is live action.
