Skirmish's Invasion of Normandy Scenario Game. 2012 video isn't up yet. These are from last year. Video, pictures and words cannot describe the beach invasion. It is literally something you have to physically experience. This year I was in the grassy dunes just in front of the tree line for the initial beach invasion and it was nuts. The night fighting was fucking insane too.




If anyone here already goes to this, or wants to let me know so we can meet up there. My friends and I attend this event every year, as the Battle for Stalingrad in March and the Battle for Berlin/Britan(depends on outcome of ION) in October.

From ION 2007. I was just inside the tree-line during the beach invasion when this was taken.

This is from Battle for Berlin 2008. I was rolling with just a pistol and flag and leading charges.

I believe this was when we were setup holding a bridge over the river and checking identification, looking for spies. Yes there are specific roles such as spies or engineers in the game.
