Can you do a wood engraving as furniture?

i could try i suppose. hmmm might have to look into that as one of my avenues of research. i kinda want to do something involving electronics

Here's my two cents:

You have to use the standard measurements for the motherboard, power supply, 3.5" drive mounts (perhaps 2.5" too for SSD's), 5.25" optical, fans (80mm, 90mm, 120mm are a minimum).

There's tons of documentation by the SFF Commitee for all that. For instance 5.25" ftp://ftp.seagate.com/sff/SFF-8551.PDF
It's all to be found here ftp://ftp.seagate.com/sff/
But a little Googling is a must if you don't want to go through all the documents.

Then there's the front panel which consists of switches, LEDs and Audio.

There's two options for the audio panel (an easy one and a hard one to DIY): one for AC97, very easy to make. Then there's Intel High Definition Audio, which consists of a couple of capacitors and EMI filters next to the input jacks.
Check page 25 for the circuit I was talking about: http://www.formfactors.org/developer\specs\A2928604.pdf

The nice thing about the last one is that there's less noise and presence detection.

Can you make bookshelves? My uncle made some beautiful buildings out of rosewood. He also made a raised fireplace that stood in the middle of the room. I wish I had a picture for you, but they are about 400 miles away from me.

You should make an English longbow sofa. Boats and sofas are similar shapes, it just make sense.

Inlay on top is epoxy resin with aluminium powder mixed in to it. Circle pattern is symplified chinese symbol for longevity. the two bits on the corners are basically the design on the drawer front split in half haha. the ones on the drawer front are basically shinto archways on their side.
drawers are on two runners in the middle instead of on the sides.
Legs are fijian mahogany, with a dark mahogany stain cause the origional colour wasn't dark enough. the rest is Iroko.

Just gonna drop a line here and say I've used an upturned canoe as a table many, many times. It's all about versatility.
