Wildstar What class interests you the most?

At this point, what class are you most interested in?

Definitely interested in the Spellslinger. Haven't seen any class like it in any game I've ever played. Dual pistols shooting spells while teleporting around the battlefield? YES PLEASE!
 
Stalker! Stabby Stabby! Er.. Slashy Slashy?

Although this isn't 100% by any stretch, Stalker is leading the way for me currently. Although I'm interested to see details on the remaining classes too.
 
Gonna go with the warrior. I love getting in the face of things and smacking them around! erm only in games ofcourse ;)
Also, I love tanking so either that or the stalker, but I love the way heavy armor looks on characters and the stalker cant provide that.
 
Warrior myself! Tanking is what I love to do. Followed closely by ranged DPS. Tanking seems the most intense and I love having the game based on my ability to tank well! I mean how can you not love standing toe to toe with something 30 times your sizes and just smacking them around!
 
I am most interested in the classes that are yet to be announced. There will be the engineer. Or I will sit in a corner and cry. And cry. And cry...
 
That's true, there are still at least 2 classes unannounced. I am hoping for another tanking class that plays differently than the warrior. After playing Warrior multiple times, it just doesn't have the same impact as it used to.

They already have a tanking class that doesn't play like normal tanking classes. Stalker. Stalker is more of an evade tank than a soak tank.

I know, I just can't play a character whose main goal is sneaking. It's the only type of class that I can never do well with.
 
That's a valid reason not to play one, but you won't see much variety in tanking beyond the regular soak style or the evasion style.

On another note, we are very adamant about not breaking the NDA here at AltTabMe. Even saying that you are in beta or not is a no no. We have a whole thing on it HERE so please be circumspect about beta. Best to just leave it out of conversation all together.
 
none of this classes interest me greatly yet... hopefully the new ones will have something for me. /sadpandaface

Yea I don't see them particularly reinventing the wheel with tanking in this game but I can always dream. Instead of evasion I wouldn't mind a tank that was a bit squishier but had a lot of reflects and redirect type attacks. It would be amazing if I could redirect an attack coming towards me to another enemy.
 
Well I want to tank and probably be an Aurin therefore it's either stalker or.... stalker right now there's no other choice.
However if the missing tank class will be interesting and availabe for Aurin than maybe that will be the winner for me :eek:mg:
Warrior doesn't really appeal to me currently but if I'll like it when i get a hands on preview of Wildstar I might just go Mordesh and tank the classic way, smash & bash all the way!
 
Well I guess Ima role the Warrior. Seriously bummed there wasnt another option for a tank with plate armor. I love to tank. That is my passion and have played tank role since i got into the MMO universe with WoW. Theres just something about being face to face with something thats looks like Mount Everest, and beating it down, and be total relied upon to hold agro or its over for everyone. Seriously tho, I hope they have another type of anything that can tank wearing plate armor. I alwayz found warrior boring to play, but whatever I have to do to be the "Badass Tank" I'll do it.
