Wildstar Your Thoughts on Wildstar's Revenue Model

I have to get used to using the buttons - I feel it's weird (used to using the keyboard for it) but I also haven't really had a game to play consistently to get me used to it yet.

I had my nostromo n52 for that. well plus my supermouse cyborg rat m.m.o. 7, but that was overkill

I expect that thing to transform into a rat and run somewhere.

Or a Decepticon that looks like a rat and sneaks back to Megatron. Anyway I am definitely going to pick up a Naga before WIldstar, just waiting on a good deal.

Hopefully something near Steam Summer Sale. If not then, Back to School. If not then, Black Friday.

I think every person I work with and every person who walked by my laptop stopped to either say WTF is wrong with your mouse or comment on how they thought it was broken.

i would love to see a game go back to roots for mmos and go back to subscriptions, i think 15-20 dollars a month is fine for a game you get many hours out of. i cant stand cash shops it actually puts me off a game completely. this game has great artwork and is so promising. the lack of advertising just really shows how positive the devs are on this project i truly think if they go subscription they will gain more people than a free to play cash shop, just because of the bad rep its had really. Maybe we could start a poll on this would be very interesting to see the outcome.

I hate cash shops and micro transactions. Only things I like to see available to purchase is premium stuff like character recustomization, name, server, etc...

I hate when actual game items, even fluff, are obtained through cash shops!

I still wish hair color and cut would be in game items to purchase like in the UO days and WoW latter days. That is a choice you have to make SOOO quickly for something that is PERMANENT in a game you have NEVER played. It just seems weird to make it so permanent or cost real money, specially when it is so personal, which is why they can get away with cash shops for it.

You don't have to make it so quickly, you could spend hours in character customization like some people do lol.

Which is why during open beta you test how the naming system works. For example in GW2 you could make a character, delete the character and the name would still be available to you for 24hrs I think. So upon release everyone did a speed login just to grab a name, and then went back and took time to create their characters exactly how they wanted them,

My name of choice is pretty uncommon, so I'm not too worried. If it was taken I'd just get my 2nd choice- Supergoober.
