Alright folks, couple things I want to get off my chest after last nights x-89 attempts.
I screwed up many times in multiple areas, some of these screw ups certainly wiped the raid. I had many issues of positioning and using cooldowns improperly (some more blatantly obvious than others).
Small bomb mishap - obviously that was me being unprepared for the mechanic when working as off tank. I'd like to think I was a little better by the end of the raid, and hopefully that situation will not occur again.
Positioning - there were a couple times I fat fingered bum rush prior to shout in my anticipation of shout. This caused poor placement for both me and the boss, resulting in some poorly timed leaps and cleaves on the party.
Complaining about taunts - this was purely my frustration and having a hard time adapting to mechanics not working properly. I apologize for some of my outbursts (especially since I stated at the beginning if the raid to try to keep outbursts in check). Thanks Talmari for handling this situation as well as you did and working around the adjustments.
I'm apparently a slow learner for new mechanics, so I appreciate you all sticking it out with me for the time I had to tank. There are many things I need to work on (and trust me, spent pretty much the entire night thinking about how I can do better) and hopefully will make fewer mistakes.
That said, this was definitely a wake up call for me to step up my game, both between poor dps (yeah yeah utility) and poor tanking mistakes. I'll get better on both fronts, I promise.
Note: this isn't a pity post, this is simply acknowledging my faults and planning to move forward working on them. This is my reflection process and isn't meant to come as whiny, just a solid reminder that I can be better.
