Jeez, Tristan... I've been here for a bit, but even I feel like running for the hills now...
 
Hey everyone. I stumbled across your recruitment post while digging around on the internet for information about Wildstar. Took a look at the website, and then, well, here I am. You guys seem like a fun bunch that I could get along with.

I've been playing video games since I can remember. I used to play GW2 a lot, but never really found a guild or community I was interested in, so I kind of dropped it. I'm sure I could be talked into playing it again (at least until Wildstar releases, because that's my current big interest).

Well, my name's Nathan. I'm 26 and I'm currently an IT guy of sorts. I've also been spending my free time lately studying Japanese, LARPing, playing Mah Jong, and running a Pathfinder game. ...and just looking at my hobbies made me realize exactly how nerdy I sound. Ha ha.

Anyways, I'll see you guys around.
 
Howdy guys, the names Noose. I met Gyion today when he came in and picked up business cards for his trip to PAX from me, only to make the wounds of missing the opportunity of purchasing my ticket for the second year in a row that much fresher. Hello guys! To keep things simple I'll just go with my avi name, Sivenx(alt) or Sivenr(main).

I recently was reminded of how much I liked the music an GW2, and went on a binge leveling my Silvari to level 74 last week... I was poking around for general info on GW2 and came across the podcast series on youtube (which I must have listened through at least 3 times for background during my week--long leveling binge).

My interests and hobbies range everywhere from wilderness survival to videogames (casual play of RPGs, FPSs, and RTSs). Although really, I spend more time on the internet researching than actually doing most of my hobbies.

To keep from writing an entire book, I'll close here with something everybody loves... a personality test!

So uh.. Yeah Hello everyone, I'm Mr. Kingpin, aight? Nice (hopefully) person from Sweden..

Most of the time at least.. I mean, I hope I am anyway.. Okay I really have no idea what to write.. I make bad puns and stuff if that helps?..

I'm not into any special genre of games, I play games that seem to fit well with whatever mood I'm in. That can range from anything like Chips Challenge (if anyone remembers that old gem, kudos!) to Borderlands 2, to Amnesia and Trackmania.

If anyone needs a teammate and I possibly might have (insert gamename here), just ask. I'll do my best to keep the team on the lively side of life! If I fail, you can allways scold me for eternity :)

Seriously though, I've been gaming BL2 with King for a while now, and he's one of the friendliest and most helpful people I've had the pleasure to bump into in-game.
I agree that he will fit right in! :)

Just found myself here by chance amidst the other wildstar followers, figured I would say hi before I return to forum lurking. I'm 26, living in DC working for The Man, currently playing the new Neverwinter with a few friends (we also play a bunch of other random stuff, Forge, LoL, Aion, Borderlands etc. etc.) while we wait on wildstar/TESO/FF XIV/whatever the next big MMO is to come out.

In the past I was part of an online community that I really enjoyed messing around with in my down time and playing with on a large-scale - my RL friends and I make a full group on our own which is nice, but it's good to have a larger pool of ideas to draw from - plus it's nice to have a forum to kill some time with !

Sadly my old gaming community died after a few years when Warhammer online failed (le sigh) but we used to do some fun stuff



(that's not me in the video, I'm way better looking)

Welcome! I already like you for thinking of size with a spoiler :) Aesthetics guys needed haha. Well we don't die dammit! GW2 tried to take us down but it failed :)

Welcome to the community, I'm sure you will find the forums to your liking. Just watch out for zombies.
 
Fishsticks - This guy. This guy I like. We will definitely have a presence in all of those MMO's, but primarily Wildstar. Keep an eye out for some FFXIV info once NDA is lifted. /cough

Also, don't be afraid to let your friends know about the site as well. It's pretty good to have all your friends in the same spot, especially if you do tend to stay close together in play. It's nice when in your typical group of five, say two are missing. You can fill those two with guildies, and now you have more of a reliable presence both within your group and within the guild. Over time, everyone synergizes and melds together, making better group/raid dynamics in the overall guild :)
 
Hello, I guess I should get a start on satisfying that last requirement on the application thread, you know the one that made me feel pretty bad about not posting at least 2 times prior to applying?

Anyway, I am a IRL friend of fishsticks the gentleman who posted a few posts up. He is the one who has led me to your impressive website and even more impressive community. Tip of the hat to him. I am 28, live outside of DC, work in construction, and have an ever growing herd of children and animals. My wife seems to enjoy bringing home random animals for me to feed and shelter. On top of all that, I am a gamer at heart and have been craving a mature, but still fun, guild/community to venture into these next round of MMO's with. As with fishsticks, I too was with a gaming community that has also fizzled. I played several games with them, but see my application for more information about that. I would like to mention that there should be a total of 5-6 of us, all real life friends, moving to Wildstar. I hope that you will find all of us worthy to join your ranks and we can roll some digital face together.

In an attempt to allow those of you who read this to get to know me and perhaps allow me to get to know some of you, I will admit that against all of my friends and families' warnings/opinions I am currently growing a pony tail. I am a strong believer that pony tails will be the next "big" thing, in the way that mustaches (mustachs? mustachi? mustacheses?) were 2-3 years ago and beards are presently. Thoughts?

So, in conclusion, I hope this satisfies the introduction and as I mentioned earlier there is more information about me and my gaming past on my application. I hope that you have enjoyed the read!
