I went ahead and bought the Logitech G700. The size and feel is perfect. It has just the right amount of buttons. I had the Naga, didn't like the button setup nor the feel, so I went back to my Death Adder. However, I wanted a mouse in between the two, so going to try this out. I've found some quick guides on how to make it work with GW2, so hopefully all will go smoothly. I really liked the Death Adder, just needed more buttons, it was driving me nuts.
i had the same one as you for a long ass time i loved it the right button died on me thoughThis is the mouse I have![]()

That was my problem. I think some grit disrupted the contacts, so the right mouse button would sometimes disengage while I held it down. Made for problems in Skyrim when I would draw a bow only to have the arrow immediately fall on the ground in front of me. How do the side buttons feel compared to the adder? I loved how easy the adder are to press specially for mumble I used the left side one.
For what it's worth, I personally found them terrible. I'm just spoiled by the Death Adder though. How do the side buttons feel compared to the adder? I loved how easy the adder are to press specially for mumble I used the left side one.

I'm glad I tried the Naga and G700, and think they're probably great mice for other people, I just was not impressed by the ergonomics of them (actually made my right hand cramp). I'd Amazon/Best Buy one to try it, and return if you didn't like it. That's what I did. You really have to try them out to see if it's for you or not.
Just wanted to follow up with how the G700 worked in the last stress test, which was excellent. I had zero problems using Set Point to bind my keys, set my profile, and get it to work inside GW2.
- I bound my 7-9 Utilities to the three index buttons on the top left of the mouse.
- I bound my call target and assist buttons to the scroll wheel tilt left, tilt right. Really liked that actually.
- Bound dodge, switch weapons, Elite, and Death Shroud (F1) to the four thumb buttons.
- Still use middle mouse for push to talk, but could easily be heal or what not.
Anyway, was a little worried about how it would perform with GW2 as some people couldn't get it to work, surprised and happy to have no issues whatsoever. Took me about 3 minutes to set up and get playing.
My only issue was the mouse is a lot heavier than the Death Adder, so my twitch was off. I had to jack the sensitivity way up and tinker with it a bit to get it where I like it. But even that is fine now. I also have only played with it wired in, not really interested in the wireless aspect for gaming. The cord hasn't been an issue at all.
So, overall, I'm giving this thing an A+ with GW2. I love the button set up, it's incredibly easy to program, and the mouse fits my hand extremely well for comfort. Now lets see how long it lasts with the pounding I'm going to be giving it. Death Adders would last me a little over a year before the double click thing kicked in.
Ever accidentally hit the mouse weheel left right when going for push to talk?
Do the angled buttons on the left feel strange because of their shape? Hard to hold down for elongated periods of time.

I'm a hero!
